Class Eligibility

All persons in the United States who received calls from Chase between January 1, 2014 and March 22, 2016 that (a) were directed to a phone number assigned to a cellular telephone service, (b) were wrong number calls – in that the subscriber or customary user of the phone number called was different from the party that Chase was trying to reach, (c) were placed using an automatic telephone dialing system, and (d) were directed to a phone number associated with a Chase deposit account according to Chase’s records.

Case Summary

Ms. James and Ms. Seniuk filed this lawsuit against Chase, alleging that Chase violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), 47 U.S.C. § 227, when calling consumers on their cellular telephones, via an automatic telephone dialing system, at wrong numbers – in that that the subscriber to the phone number called was different from the party that Chase was trying to reach. Chase denies the allegations. The parties have agreed to a settlement.

    I have received these calls from (Chase and Wells Fargo)! I try to tell them Im not who looking for if not called lier. Im invited to become a customer. I work from 6pm to 6am so being woke up for a non emergancy is not fair to me. I am glad someone is doing something about it

    I receive calls from Chase offering liens they called my phone all day long I tried to block them but it didn’t work so finally I took my phone off the hook sad …I became very unhappy help

    Hello, I have received several unwanted calls from Chase Bank, as they were looking for the wrong PARTY…..I was very upset that they were continuing to call me even after I said please remove my number, I am not that person you are looking for. I would like to see this to be settled fairly.

    Hello, I have received numerous calls from Chase Bank looking for a PARTY that was not me. After I said please stop calling this number, they continued to call my cell number on a daily basis. It was very upsetting and frustrating to me. I would like to see a fair settlement between all parties ASAP…..Thank you

    I were very dissapointed with Chase Phone calls I left their service to go with another institution dor my banking. Everything else was pretty much to my satisfaction. Thank you for trying too please a former customer and other folks of this problem.

    I received calls from Chase. Unsure if it’s part of this. I’ll file and add my cell number, and I guess that’s the only way to find out. Hope I don’t get in trouble for filing if I find out I’m not qualified.

    I TRIED TO FILE MY CLAIM ONLINE. THE RIGGED ADMINISTATOR SYSTEM REJECTED MY CLAIM. IT SAID MY PHONE NUMBER DID NOT APPEAR IN CHASES RECORDS. I KNOW FOR A FACT CHASE WRONGFULLY CONTACTED ME REPEATDLY DURING THIS TIME. IT SEEMS LIKE SOMEBODY IS TRYING TO KEEP THE SETTLEMENT AWARD MONEY!
