    ADMIN – Hi Mr. Parks

You are a member of this class if you, since 2003, purchased milk or other milk products (including half & half, cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, yogurt or cream) when you were a resident of one of the following states, you may be entitled to payment from this milk price-fixing class action settlement: (Tennessee included) So the answer appears to be yes.

I think we the people should get alot more than 4 to 6 dollars

          • Lisa Valerio says:

Had to do survey by the end of January its almost the end of march and haven’t heard a word

          • Brenda says:

Almost the end of the month where are the rebates?

            ADMIN – Hi Brenda,

The admin has to issue millions of checks for six dollars each. Be patient.

          • Kathy Romanoff says:

It’s The middle of April and I still have not received any thing in the mail

            ADMIN – Hi Kathy,

      • Unknowed says:

Don’t’ have much to say about this law suit. Just tell me, have your greasy hand’s already got your third?about what, a third. Round about $33,000,000 around that right. All you lawyer’s are all the same, you make sure you get your greasy hand’s in this law suit, long before the people get what they deserve. Tell me something, just how much milk do you actually drink?i bet never more than myself. Around three to four gallon’s a month. Also have to drive 98mile’s round trip. Just don’t never undsrstand why you attorney’s get a third and get your money first. Is there a written law said’s you get a third?know something, intros class action suit, the real people should get paid first, then you get the remain’s. Lawery’sfirst, everyone else second, third, ect, ect,,ect. You all should be really ASSHAMED of of yourself’s. have to stop, getting up-set.P.S.let’s if you can afford to buy milk at $6.00 as I read can be the lowest for the people to get from this suit.cow’s say, Mooooooooo.hust don’t have anymore to say. Harrell me when and how much of that settlement I receive?????😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

        ADMIN – Hi Janice,

It is because of class action attorneys that you get the opportunity to receive a portion of a settlement. Without their work, effort and expertise these settlements would not exists and greedy corporations would take advantage of consumers just like you every time they get a chance. Be thankful for your class action lawyers and the Federal Trade Commission. They are on your side.

        • Kerri says:

          Fantastic answer.

        • Pamela Tipton says:

If they were on our side we would be getting more than $6.00 this is just ridiculous. There’s no justification for “Greed”.

          ADMIN – Hi Pamela,

The amount is based on dividing the total pool by the number of people that file. No greed here just following the terms of the settlement.

          • Joseph Massie says:

did anyone who actually bought milk get a say in the settlement? no we get 6 dollars if u had asked me i would of said take it to trial but who am i just a petaon who was ripoed off twice. once by milk farmers and once by lawyers who settled for what was best for them

            ADMIN – Hi Joseph,

For a class action to go through it must have a class representative who has in fact purchased the product.

          • Gloria says:

$6. May be less than you want/expected to get/feel entitled to, whatever. However. Make the other comparasion…$6.00 to $0.00, as $0.00 is what you’d get without the Class Action. “Some” beats “None” in my book, anytime.

        • Ore cantrell says:

So after all the money we have spent on milk and other products all we get is 6$ that is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard

          ADMIN – Hi Ore,

Heartbreaking indeed. But $6 is better than nothing.

          • SK Crosswhite says:

I signed up and filled out a form and never got another reply/response. I thought we were suppose to be contacted by end of March..nothing has ever been sent to us and it is April 19th…just curious where we stand.

            ADMIN – Hi SK,

Like all the members of the class you are currently patiently waiting for the admin to validate all the claims.

        • Pissed off Consumer says:

So when I read we were getting 50 bucks in reality we were only getting 6 bucks which barely gets you a gallon of milk…. not fair when you account for tons of milk products I bought and come to find out you guys are still “sifting” through our money….. come on really? I get you had a lot of files but it shouldnt be too hard to send people 6 bucks especially when you had two months to do it and the deadline for our checks was march…. in the end these kinds of things always rip you off in the end :/

          ADMIN – Hi PO,

We are so sorry you feel that way, but please remember that we are not the Milk producers, nor are we the attorneys in this case or the class action admins. We are simply a friendly place that takes the time to publish news about settlements. How about a thank you for keeping us informed?

          • Illa Hickam says:

I am very thankful for all the work they and anyone did on this I know it said 50 but any money’s is better then what we had in the first place.

        • charles M lizotte says:

Yea well we’ve spent 100s if dollars on milk and were getinf 4-6 dollars thats pretty screwed up 6 dollars for 100s or 1000s of dollars on dairy products most of us live paycheck to paycheck why don’t you lawyers add 30 percent of your commission into the pool we need it more than you lawyers we should get a 100 minimum enough to actually do something with like maybe pay a dan bill

          ADMIN – Hi Charles,

The fees the attorneys receive are decided by a judge. If you are not comfortable with the decisions your judges are making I encourage you to vote them out.

        • charles M lizotte says:

Yay let’s be happy for 6 dollars even though we spent 100s or 1000s over this period of time you should have known how many ppl there would be and took them into account it’s a giant corparation you could have gottet a few 100 million dollars seeing how they ripped off so many paying customers

          ADMIN – Hi Charles,

If you believe the model used in deciding the amount of a settlement pool is wrong you have the option to object before the deadline and bring a lawsuit on your own.

      • Dr. Kal Chakraborty says:

        This Dr. Chakraborty,

There are only 6 days left for Mar-2017. When do we get the payment?

        ADMIN – Hello Again,

The admin can delay payments if he has not been able to validate all the claims.

        • Kelsey says:

I’m still waiting for mine also. Says in March but it’s almost April

        • Marissa says:

Is there a way we can find out the distribution schedule?

          ADMIN – Hi Marissa,

The admin had mentioned distribution would take place this month but my guess is that they are faced with millions of claims making the process complex. Keep checking with us and please remember that this is for a $6 check.

      • trey kelley says:

Hi my name is trey and I need help getting my issue of the refund I have not herd anything can u help me??

        ADMIN – Hi Trey,

      • Mrs. Tanya Kirk says:

It is now mid April 2017 and we have NOT received any monies nor any further communications regarding our claim. We submitted a claim form early January 2017 via the web. . ANY NEW UPDATES?????

        ADMIN – Hi Tanya,

        None whatsoever.

        • SK Crosswhite says:

Yep, we are in the same boat . .NOTHING…NADA, no word, no email and/or no response of any kind since we filled the form out months ago. Thought the deadline was end of March, guess we just sit and wait but we are seeing $6, really? Pathetic, love the people who made comments on the greedy lawyers.

In my opinion, it doesnt look like anybidy but the attorneys will gain from this lawsuit. In the e-mail i received, it stated “an email will he sent to you shortly after the deadline for you to choose an option for immediate payment. This email has never been sent to me. According to an “admin” who is responding to people, he/she is advising “now you wait”, “it could take years before you see any money”, “who knows when tye payout will he”. This lawsuit led ppl to believe they would get refund ASAP because it didnt have to go through the courts. The farmers already agreed to a settlement amount!!

  16. Maygan says:

So…..dead line is past. No other info. Thus far I have gotten more spam and telemarketing calls. Not sure if it was from this but……

    ADMIN – Hi Maygan,

I filed for the Boughtmilk.com class action and am wondering if this suit will be the same as the infant powdered milk suit in the 90’s that started out at $300 per child and went down to $30 per child and eventually nothing with all the money going to the lawyers and their [sic] administration fees.

    ADMIN – Hi William,

The lawyers will receive the amount assigned by the judge regardless of the number of claims. It looks like this settlement had high participation and you are likely to receive about $6

  46. Michael Jones says:

I never got a reply. But submit for a claim.

  47. Liz says:

Filed a claim and never heard back about the claim since i filed. What’s going on???

    ADMIN – Hi Liz,

Thank you for stopping by. When it comes to settlements patience is the key. I hear this one will be paid out in march.

  48. Linda E. says:

I filed online january 12, 2017. I received my confirmation number by email, but have not heard anything else. Wisconsin resident

    ADMIN – Hi Linda,

Please take a moment to read all the comments. Your fellow community members have provided information about this settlement.

  49. Tina Maclachlan says:

Hi i have filed a claim for the milk law suit. So im wandering when we will be paid for. Our claim. And hiw much will it be.

    ADMIN – Hi Tina,

Class Action Settlements can sometimes take longer than expected. For this one you can expect to hear from the admin in March and you are likely to receive between 4 to 6 dollars.

  50. HB says:

I filed early on and I received $5 check today from MPS, INC. with no indication as to what for or why. I assume from this suit, since I haven’t applied for anything else.

This is the website I found attributed to MPS, INC in Cinnaminson, NJ and one of their clients is a dairy. However, it seems odd that at the top of the check, it says “360 VODKA/FLAVC.”

What’s that about and can you verify the check as legitimate?

    ADMIN – Hi HB,

Based on the website you shared with us your check must have been from a product rebate and not a class action settlement.

  51. Michelle says:

I applied online on january 11, 2017 and got a confirmation email, but have not heard anything else via email after january 31 deadline. A friend received her rebate february 21, She completed the gotmilk form on january 20. Why are people who applied later already their rebates now.

    ADMIN – HI Michelle,

My understanding is that distribution will take place in March. Are you sure your friend is talking about the same settlement?

    • Michelle says:

Yes. Apparently there were two forms you could complete at boughtmilk.com, one wth name and email; and one with name, email & address.

  52. Amanda says:

    Hello,

I submitted my claim and still have not received an email regarding payment. What is the timeline of this?

    Thank you,

    ADMIN – Hi Amanda,

    March

  53. Kary Morris says:

i lost my confirmation number is it anyway i can retrieve this number again???

    ADMIN – Hi Kary,

You can contact the administrator, or patiently wait for the email that will contain instructions on how to receive your monies.

  54. JOYCE KRAVITSKY says:

FEB 23, 2017, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INFO AS OF THIS DATE MY REF # 4fc62c53, I CAN BE REACHED AT JDK25@COMCAST.NET

    ADMIN – Hi Joyce,

We can’t help you with this as we are not the administrators. Read the rest of the comments where we have included some updates.

  55. Crystal Barnett says:

I was wondering how much would we get back on the settlement?

    ADMIN – Hi Crystal,

    Between 4 to 6 dollars

  56. Jeanetta says:

Why would we only receive 4-6 dollars when we may have spend more than that? Should it be more than that?

    ADMIN – Hi Jeanetta,

You get a share of the pool not a full refund.

  57. John says:

What electronic method we will receive the money through?

    ADMIN – Hi John,

It may be something like PayPal or similar. Or perhaps a digital printable check.

  58. TLB says:

I submitted a comment about a month ago, no reply. I purchased milk products in California and Michigan over years. How soon will get settlement and how settlement will be distributed. TLB

    ADMIN – Hi TLB,

It will be sometime in March.

    • amanda says:

I submitted a claim in march and still nothing and its almost may..when will I receive mine..

      ADMIN – Hi Amanda,

The Admin tells us that he currently does not have a firm timeline.

  59. TLB says:

Thank you I got a reply to my email. Will follow-up. TLB

  60. Barbara shephard says:

I have not received any information since I filed for the claim. When does the payment come out? What time in March?

    ADMIN – Hi Barbara,

The check is likely to be for $4 to $6. It will be issued when the admin is ready to distribute.

  61. Sue K says:

    Hello,

I sent in my claim form by the deadline, but it is 3/2 and I have not received any further instructions for how I want the money. Did I miss something or is this still going to be sent out? Thanks.

    ADMIN – Hi Sue,

    This is still pending.

  62. Dave says:

Do now have refined timing on payout? Amount of payout? and method of payout?

    ADMIN – Hi Dave,

The admin is saying March, the amount is about $6 and the method will be email distribution. Perhaps digital checks.

  63. David says:

What is the updated timing on payment? What is the method of payment?

    ADMIN – Hi David,

It is going to be this month and they will send you an email giving you options for payment.

  64. Ken says:

So in other words…13 million people signed up for the refund? Divide a 52 million dollar settlement and we get a whopping $4-$6 ? I thought there was a minimum the website stated?

    ADMIN – Hi Ken,

Here is the update directly from their website:

Expected payout amounts are not yet known at this time and will be updated once all claims have been reviewed. The more claims received, the lower the expected payout amounts, because there is a fixed settlement fund. Please note that the number of claimants has exceeded original predictions, so the expected payout will be lower than originally anticipated. Individuals may receive between approximately $6 to $6.50, and entities may receive between approximately $168 to $182.

    • Ken says:

      Numerous sites say $40-$70…

      ADMIN – Hi Ken,

Yes, that was the original estimate but too many people applied.

  65. Alberto Terrell says:

I just feel that it’s the right thing to do

  66. Gabriel olivares says:

I filled a claim and still havent recived and a elecrtonic payment is going to be issued but how is that if the dont even have or ask me for direct depoit number r nothing so also where in march so where my money cuz i bout a lott milk 2 gallons everyday so

    ADMIN – Hi Gabriel,

Your money will arrive when the admin is ready to distribute the funds.

  67. Taylor says:

When will the distribution schedule be set by the court?

    ADMIN – Hi Taylor,

    Sometime this month.

  68. Jenny Dugger says:

Hi I filled out my paper work and I haven’t received any information how do I go about seeing if I’m on the list I’ve been in Missouri my whole life and have 3 kids so I know I paid way to much outta pocket for milk please let me know thank you

    ADMIN – Hi Jenny,

    Contact the class action administrator.

  69. Russell Reimer says:

It’s March where is all the money. Early it stated the amount would be between 40 and 70 $.

    ADMIN – Hi Russell,

The number of people claiming exceed the pool

  70. Samantha Louise Jackson says:

Hadn’t. received a email about my settlement

  71. Alberto Terrell says:

Thank you very much$4 to $6 WE be good i am in flint Michigan

  72. Lynette Love says:

Im glad this is settled all the money I spent on milk for my family

  73. Jackie Colorigh says:

I completed the claim form by email. When will we receive information regarding rebate procedures?

    ADMIN – Hi Jackie,

The admin is saying March. You should receive instructions by email.

  74. Mary A Sanford says:

I look on my email and received a notice dated 01/13/2017 stating that I would get additional information as to how to request my payment I have still not received anything as of this date.

  75. Tamara Fiddick says:

What about the eopke who don’t and don’t want to be a art of Twitter or Facebook. How are we to know any info on the case?

    ADMIN – Hi Tamara,

If that is your case, your best bet is to go to the settlement page and read the documents when they are updated.

  76. Martha Summey says:

I have received nothing else since completing the registration form. What’s going on?

    ADMIN – Hi Martha,

Please take time to review our responses to other comments.

  77. LISA SUMMEY says:

I competed the registration form and have received no further instructions. When will I be getting the settlement amount?

    ADMIN – Hi Lisa,

Please take a moment to read our responses to other class members in the comments section.

  78. ralph troisi says:

i raised 2 childrenu know how much nmilk i must have bought and butter, when will i see any money

    ADMIN – Hi Ralph,

You will likely see $6 in the next few weeks.

  79. Steve Goodwin says:

Myself and some other family members bout milk (much) and filled out the form and haven’t heard a thing as of 3/12/17. What do we do next?

    ADMIN – Hi Steve,

You wait. Class members should be getting an email about this case sometime this month.

  80. judith Cureton says:

I have filled out the form and have not heard anything as of yet what should I do

    ADMIN – Hi Judith,

You wait. Sometime this month you should get an email with additional instructions.

  81. Rozilyn says:

    When do we get paid

    ADMIN – Hi Rozliyn,

Refer to my responses to prior comments.

  82. Arlon Spaeth says:

What is the status of claim payment?
    When will checks be mailed?
    Thank you.
    Alrlon

    ADMIN – Hi Arlon,

Please read my responses to other comments.

  83. misty Martinez says:

I’ve purchased milk cheese yogurt to many to count I gave 7 kids do thsts alot of milk

  84. Beth Waldsmith says:

I did rreceived an email stating thank you for submitting my claim on 01/27017 and would be contacted via email for addition instructions shortly after the deadline. When will I be receiving an email regarding how they will send my check. I did not give any information on to receive any check.

    ADMIN – Hi Beth,

It is our understanding that those emails will go out this month.

  85. Robin Orbison says:

I got a confirmation email on Jan 18 , 2017. I still have not gotten anything either? What am I suppose to do now

    ADMIN – Hi Robin,

At this point we are all in waiting mode.

  86. Jennifer Burton says:

I have not received the confirmation email for payment. When will I receive it?

  87. Jennifer Whitmore says:

I have not been contacted either.

  88. Anthony Biess says:

How will we get paid? do you have to buy a pay pal card and do you know the amount of money we will receive. thank you

    ADMIN – Hi Anthony,

We don’t know the details yet.

  89. Sandy says:

Why all the emails asking for their money… Its only $6.00, who cares! Really what is $6.00. Nothing these days.

  90. Kenneth A. Pelletier says:

My name is Kenneth A. Pelletier, email – kennypelletier@comcast.net, 140 Pontoosic Rd, Westfield, Ma 01085, 413/642/8942. I’m writing in regards to the class action rebates that was supposed to be mailed. Is the amount only $6.00 and if so how did you come up with such a low amount out of $52,000,000.00?

    ADMIN – Hi Kenneth,

The amount is basically an equal share of the pool divided among valid claims.

  91. Jennifer Turner says:

I did a claim n haven’t received anything further was done before January 31st 2017 haven’t received any new emails or anything more on what more to do

  92. Gloria says:

Mailed? Not that I heard or read. Everything I read said we’d get an eMail asking how we wanted to receive the refund…by PayPal, or some other listed source and then the funds would come thru there. HOWEVER…it was to be soon after the claim deadline, Jan 31, it is now mid-March and I have received NO eMail. I don’t use the Social Media. Am I to just watch my eMail to see when an eMail arrives or what? And, oh, yes…like, WHEN??

    ADMIN – Hi Gloria,

When the admin is ready he will begin distribution and each person will receive approximately $6.

  93. Sherry Whipple says:

I got your confirmation notice on Jan. 20, 2017 and haven’t heard back from you….What’s up ??????

    ADMIN – Hi Sherry,

The admin has not began distribution. Wait patiently for your $6.

  94. esther says:

3-24-17 not received payment yet. when?

    ADMIN – Hi Esther,
When the admin is ready to send them.

  95. Dr. Kal Chakraborty says:

All of us got a big confirmation notice that we will receive the payment but when? It does not matter $6 or $8, if you can possibly deny the payment to 10,000 claims $6 each and keep the money that is your Economic Gain for $60,000. While marginal utility for $6 is for us is quite low but total utility for $60,000 for you is definitely a good amount.

Please sent the money asap so that we do not need to spend more time on sending you email because the opportunity cost of our 15 min time sending you an email is much higher than $6 we are supposed to get.

    ADMIN – Hi Dr. Kal,
The administrator or the attorneys behind a settlement don’t get to keep any portion of the pool. If 10k claims get denied their funds will be distributed among the other members whose claims are valid.

  96. James says:

sent in my claim for Bought Milk January and were told we would get back some money $40 to $60 dollars? To date nothing received. Claim ID 77e1013d4

    Waiting patiently. Thanks.

    ADMIN – Hi James,

Far more people than expected filed claims. The settlement is likely to be $6 instead of $60

  97. Valerie says:

Hi just wondering why I haven’t heard anything yet, I definitely made the deadline and it seems like many people are in the same boat, the whole situation is quite disgusting and disturbing especially considering the poor cows, I’m chopping this up as a loss but I’m really disgusted!!

  98. William Sagaberd says:

Since the USPS closed the local post office good luck on delivering my claim check.

  99. Missy says:

Hello I never received my email but I filled out the info on the website can someone please call me and let me know what’s going on and why I did not get my email?

    ADMIN – Hi Missy,

Please scroll up and read the responses to prior comments.

  100. Gloria says:

    Again.
HOW IS THE DISTRIBUTION TO BE DONE?
PRE-NOTIFICATION BY EMAIL, ASKING WHICH PAY-SOURCE WE WANT USED?
    OR NO PRE-NOTICE, JUST…
A CHECK IN THE U.S. MAIL?
    PLASTIC IN THE U.S. MAIL?

    ADMIN – Hi Gloria,

You will get an email with additional instructions as to how you will receive your $6.00

  101. carol says:

I thought people would get more than $6.00 back. we’re talking years of milk purchase’s. How is this justified?

    ADMIN – Hi Carol,

This settlement is a pro rata settlement against the total pool. Each person that qualifies will receive an equal portion. If more people apply the slices of the cake become smaller.

  102. .......... says:

I purchesed yogurt mik cheese and etc. for my daycare i own straight out of pocket i spent hundreds of dollars a week and still have a few of my recipets so of course ill be getting more that 6 dollars close to 160 because i filled for entitie any word on the claim at all?

    ADMIN – Hi Hayle,

    No updates at the moment.

  103. Scott Abbott says:

I filed a claim on 1/16/17. Are you going to provide settlement?
    Reference ID: bea3018d scottkabbott@gmail.com

    ADMIN – Hi Scott,

We are not going to provide anything at all as we are not the class action administrator. We are simply an informational website like a newspaper of class actions. If you have questions you need to contact the admin directly.

  104. Elfonzo says:

I have not hear anything about my money

  105. Wolfe Enoshima says:

Why are there $6 being given out when originally it was stated that $70+ would be given to individuals and $100-$500 would be given to groups like, for example, the American Red Cross or individual groups. I’m guessing that was a lie like what most businesses do?

    ADMIN – Hi Wolfe,
The initial estimates were made assuming only a percentage of the individuals affected planned to file. It appears the number of valid claims was higher forcing the admin to distribute the pool among more members.

  106. Doug says:

Hi any chance we can we get the names of the team of lawers or firm that handled this huge settlement so poorly?
Was it so hard to use some of that money to actually check addresses maybe ask for id scans containing home address to clean out some of the false applications?

I see the admin discussing how lucky we are lol. These milk companies couldve given us coupons instead of an undeserved payday for the lawyers involved.
Advertising everyone would get 70 dollars considering how bad this team is at math maybe they forgot a digit?

    ADMIN – Hi Doug,

You can find the information for class counsel by referring to the long notice. Even when customers receive coupons the attorneys involved will receive their fees as prescribed by the judge. As for the amount of the settlement, both parties make an estimation as to the # of people that are likely to claim and come up with an approximate amount. When more people than expected claim the amount goes down. Attorneys do not get paid more their fees are fixed.

  107. Jessica says:

Where is the payment for claim I submitted. You said March now it’s April. What is going on?? You keep saying watch for email. I want more answers than that. When can I expect payment?

    ADMIN – Hi Jessica,

You should receive your payment when the admin is done validating all the claims.

  108. Anthony says:

Why is there no status update on the webpage? They first said it would be in march and haven’t even had the courtesy of updating the expected time of disbursement. Saying “When the admin is ready” is insulting at this point. I expect a lot more professionalism in legal matters, and it doesn’t take much to update the site.

    ADMIN – Hi Anthony,

I only update my website when there is new info.

  109. Rebecca Mills says:

It’s now the 4th of April, and I haven’t gotten an email about the settlement choice. I got an reference id number but haven’t heard yet. Have emails been sent out yet? I also do not have a pay pal acct, google or Amazon acct. will that affect the payment?

    ADMIN – Hi Rebecca,

I don’t think it will affect your payment, they will find a way to send you your $6

  110. David Ball says:

I would like to know when the payment is going to be payed an how much

    ADMIN – Hi David,

The payments will be made when the admin has verified all the claims and the amount will be about $6

  111. Russell Reimer says:

I am still waiting for my refund. And will probably be dead by the time you people get around to paying it out.

    ADMIN – Hi Russell Reimer,

    Please don’t die.

  112. DB says:

    Anything new to report?

    ADMIN – Hi DB,

    Nothing at the moment

  113. Dora says:

When are the rebates being mailed out to Arizona? Ive seen in some comments that its suppose to be by the end of march but havent seen it yet?

    ADMIN – Hi Dora,

    We don’t have additional updates.

  114. Veronica Simmons says:

Hello Veronica Simmons my address is 3701 East Elizabeth Street Compton California 90221 phone number is 562 294-7293 I have been waiting for the issue of the settlement checks I have not yet received I have an account that you could direct deposit if you could please respond back I appreciate it
If needed the information for direct deposit I’ll reply thank you so much

    ADMIN – Hi Veronica,

The admin has not yet begun distribution.

  115. DAVE SMITH says:

I would imagine the lawyers want to verify each claim so the can charge their $300 and hour and keep more of the money

    ADMIN – Hi Dave,

Claims are verified by class action admins. the amount attorneys get paid is fixed and it is disclosed on the long notice.

  116. Doris Cates says:

i filled this out and have heard nothing else about it

  117. Susan Shrout says:

I filled out required on line and received an email with I’D number,it also stated I would receive an email with something I needed to fill out which I never received. Looking on this site I see that people were paid in March….i never received a check and this is the second email I’ve sent you and have never received a response to my first email…..please respond.

    ADMIN – Hi Susan,

I don’t think distribution has begun for this one.

  118. Lisa Mastalir says:

    Sir or madam,
Same here, I have heard nothing – nor have any of my 5 sisters.
Where shall I go from here?

    ADMIN – Hi Lisa,

Just wait patiently, eventually you will receive your $6

    • Matthew says:

This would be quite the comedy if it weren’t real life.. the sense of entitlement and demand for their whopping six dollars is troubling.

      ADMIN – Hi Matthew,

This is the real deal!!! 😉

  119. Larenza Davis says:

I also was wondering how much longer this will take to receive a payment cause I also filled out a form and have not gotten a email on the next steps to take can you give me an answer on the problem

    ADMIN – Hi Larenza,

The admin has to validate millions of claims. Please be patient.

  120. Shelly A DiPhillipo says:

I’ve never seen a bunch of more desperate people in my life….really people?! You’re pestering these people for $6 measly dollars? Wow! You must be very bored with nothing better to do…get a life…

    • dc says:

6$ can be quite a lot for some people. As a college student I could feed myself for six days with six dollars LOL

      ADMIN – Hi DC,

Do share your system. We want to learn.

  121. Nikki says:

What about small businesses with a claim?

    ADMIN – Hi Nikki,

Small businesses are likely to get more.

  122. Ann says:

I sent in my claim form in January before the expired date. When should I expect to see a refund? And if you have sent the refunds out, I have not yet rec’d that refund yet.

    Ann W

    ADMIN – Hi Ann,

Please take a moment to read the thread.

  123. Erika Bueno says:

I am wondering how/why the amount went from $70.00 a claim, as originally mentioned, to $6.00

    ADMIN – Hi Erika,

The original amount was an estimate based on a potential number of claimants. That number was way higher than expected therefore the admin was instructed to take the total amount and divide it by the number of valid claims.

  124. debra fox says:

    4/11/2017 not heard a word…

  125. Amanda Nix says:

We have been checking daily and have received nothing. Just wondering what is going on. We live in TN. we have bought TONS of milk and dairy products. Our claim was submitted way before the deadline. How do we know when it will be available? How will the email come up? Hoping it’s more than only $6 considering since that date we could’ve owned a dairy farm with all the money spent on milk and dairy products. TIA.

    ADMIN – Hi Amanda,

The admin received far more claims than expected and cannot ramp up staffing without incurring additional costs. They are working on validating claims and will eventually process the payments.

  126. Denise L Childers says:

I bought3 to 4 gallons of milk a month, yogurt, loads of cheese, sour cream. I filled out my form before the deadline and still haven’t heard anything and I see the settlements payout was in march. I even used my gmail address and nothing. Can you tell me when or if I should expect anything? Still waiting.

    ADMIN – Hi Denise,

    Everyone is in wait mode.

  127. Greg Wright says:

Could you please send my $6 to St. Jude Childrens Hospital in the form of a donation from your law firm? Thanks, -G.V. Wright

    ADMIN – Hi Greg,

That is so kind of you. Unfortunately that is not the way settlements are processed. Once you receive you monies you can point them to a charity of your choice.

  128. Armida monreal says:

No one has got in touch with me about this

  129. Lily says:

Oh my gosh people, stop leaving your personal information (addresses, numbers, email, etc) on a public webpage! Admin- I don’t know if it’s possible to remove these posts, but a few of these people have their physical addresses and phone numbers up. Even if it’s their own stupid fault, we do need to help those who are not Internet savvy. In general, I commend whoever is answering these comments. Some of them are truly ridiculous (and hilarious, and sad…).

And to everyone else- yes, a lot of big class action lawsuits wind up with small settlements for individuals. If there are a lot of people in the class. It’s the same reason you often only get a small piece of actual wedding cake at a wedding. If there are 100+ people sharing the cake, everyone just gets a little, even if it’s a big three tiered cake. If, for some reason, half the guests can’t attend, there’s more cake for the handful of people who do show up. My word.

    ADMIN – Hi Lily,

Generally speaking individuals who leave their address on our website have already left it in a million places. Prioritizing their privacy is not their thing.

  130. Edward says:

I filed Jan 13 2017 and have heard nothing since. I do have a reference ID. Do I need to do anything or will I receive a payment automatically? I know how much milk I buy does not come into it, but I drink about a gallon a DAY, and have done so for a very long time (I’m 58 and milk is all I drink). I spend about $25 a week for milk.

  131. Tawanna Willie says:

When will I receive my payment. I live in Michigan and I purchased milk, cheese and sour cream all the time. I filled out the required documents but I have not gotten back a response or anything. I met the deadline and did everything correctly.

    ADMIN – Hi Tawanna,

The admin for the settlement has not yet initiated distribution.

  132. Lucy fears says:

It is now Apri and refunds were expected in March, I have not received anything in the mail or via email. Shall I just keep waiting or just give up and label this as another marketing hoax?
    Thank you.

    ADMIN – Hi Lucy,

You would do well to wait. Class actions are not hoaxes. They are lengthy legal processes.

  133. Jesse breo says:

I filed the claim in January thought we are supposed to get a email to receive never received a email

    ADMIN – Hi Jesse,

I don’t think they have sent the emails yet

  134. Trishcelia Banks says:

I’ve been trying to contact someone about the refund for a while ago but I have been purchasing diary products and a gallon of milk four times in a week , butter, yogurt by the cases a week, cottage cheese, etc. Have a big family and I’m sure I will be compensated very well and thank you.

    ADMIN – Hi Trishcelia,

You will most likely receive $6 like everyone else

  135. Rolanda Peete says:

So how long does it take to get my money it’s April

    ADMIN – Hi Rolanda,

The admin is under no obligation to rush the process for as long as the judge is ok with the work they are doing. Validating millions of claims is not an easy task.

  136. Traci powell says:

I too and other family members have not heard or recieved anything back about how we want our payment or anything. Im in tn

    ADMIN – Hi Sandy,

You can do so by contacting the class action administrator.

      • Sandy says:

Called, did not answer any questions and its a recorded answer. No info on when payments will begin. Im beginning to think this is a scam.

        ADMIN – Hi Sandy,

It is not. This is the way class action settlements work

  142. Cesar Vargas says:

This is the response I get when I inquire about this lawsuit and next steps to proceed.

Thank you for contacting boughtmilk.com. We have received your request.

Please note that the period to establish a claim expired on January 31, 2017 and we are unable to assist with new inquiries received after that time.

Payment information and timing are not available. Please continue to check boughtmilk.com in the coming weeks; that site will provide the most up-to-date information available. Rest assured that you will be contacted at this email address regarding your claim when it is ready.

    Regards,

    BoughtMilk.com Claims Support

  143. Cesar Vargas says:

I used the contact information listed above on this page. FYI for anyone.

  144. Patty Stevens says:

Myself individually and my church as an entity each filed separate claims. I looked on the BoughtMilk.com claims support and it appears no other recent court filings have been entered but the facebook page states from April 12th 2017 what is below:

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we wait for the court to approve the Fresh Milk Antitrust Settlement. Rest assured, we will deliver payments to all confirmed claimants as soon as we’re able to proceed. Also note that the settlement fund is a set amount. With the larger-than-predicted number of claimants in the case, the final payout amount is lower than we had expected.
Individuals should receive approximately $6 to $6.50, and entities should receive approximately $168 to $182. We appreciate your patience and your participation in the class!

  145. Crystal waters says:

It pass March when do we get our money

    ADMIN – Hi Crystal,

When the admin is ready to distribute.

  146. Deborah says:

I cannot believe some of these comments. It’s a $6 check, people. No, you won’t be able to retire from your crappy job, and no, you really can’t include this income as part of your financial planning either. It’s free money – stop the whining already.

  147. Rhonda Abbett says:

I filed my claim and haven’t heard anything since then why have I not been contacted further its been many months now without any further word from anyone about this lawsuit.. Rhonda Abbett

    ADMIN – Hi Rhonda,

    ADMIN – Hi DL,

One of our community members emailed the admin and found out that they changed from being a March distribution to not a firm date.

  149. Charles M. Marteney Jr. says:

Where are the checks coming from? Who is distributing them. I get bougus checks in the mail sometimes and throw them away and I don’t want to discard one that is legit.

    ADMIN – Hi Charles,

If I recall correctly this settlement is set to be distributed digitally. You will receive an email.
