    First we wait for the deadline, after the deadline we wait for possible appeals. Once appeals come to completion we wait for the admin to verify claims and issue checks. Most likely a year or two before you get monies.

We use to purchase these products in other places too like Target, Costco, Baby r us and Amazon. Can we claim all that together or separated?

    You should be able to access your Honest account even if you are no longer purchasing from them. I believe you claim everything on a single form.

    I have an account with them and received a claim code. When I put it in, it provided a verified amount. It sounds like this is the amount I spent on these items using my account (not what would be paid in settlement?). How do I tell what the actual payout would be (since it doesn’t show the total number of items I purchased that apply)?

    Go to your account and count the number of qualified products you purchased. Then multiply that by $2.50

    Does the hand sanitizer 2 pack count as 1 item or 2?

    I have over a hundred items and as I was filling out the form it really started to upset me that I used these products, gave them as gifts and recommended them for two years. And now the Honest company won’t admit to falsely saying all their products were HONESTLY free of any toxins. I used to spray that cleaner on my child’s high chair while she was in it! Shame on me. But really shame on them. I want all my money back not just $2.50 per item. Lol. Sorry for that rant, please answer my two questions.

    If the bundles are listed as a bullet they count as one item. If the sanitizer pack is listed as a two pack on the bullets above it counts as one item.

      I asked the same questions an I received an email saying if you agree to the price you do not have to show proof. Which I have an I would like credit for my over 3000$ worth of purchases in the last 3 years.

    I received an email with a class member id number and confirmation code. when i started the form, it gave me a verified amount and already had all of my information filled in. I did not see anywhere to attach receipts. Since all of my information is available on my online Honest account (i am still a customer), do I need to send receipts somewhere? I have VOLUMES of receipts, as I’ve been a member since Feb 2012.

    No, those with verified amounts need to file a claim but I don’t think you need to submit receipts.

    I have had nothing but problems with getting concise answers to the questions I have emailed off to the Claims Administrator – hopefully I have better luck here. My first question to the Administrator went as follows:

    “I have not previously received an email or postcard, how do I obtain a Class Member Identification Number? (I previously submitted my information on the claim site, the account is under my wife’s name and email.)”

    The Admin. replied, “The people who were sent an email were chosen by Honest. We are not affiliated with them so we cannot assign a code. Some people received an email with a code and some did not. Please check your spam/junk folder for an email. If you have another email associated with Honest let us know so we can look further.”

    My first question here is:
    1) Does an ID not have to be assigned to file a claim?

    My next question to the Admin. was the same as Carolyn’s and Melissa’s, “The majority of our purchases from THC were for monthly deliveries of the Diaper and Wipes Bundle, 6 packages of diapers and 4 packages of wipes, I did not see this bundle under the product list – how do I submit a claim for each of these bundles?”

    The Admin. replied, “if you would like to claim your bundle purchase, please indicate each product contained in the bundle as its own product. For example, if you would like to claim a diaper/wipe bundle, you will claim one diaper and one wipe. If you purchased a bundle of 6 wipes, you may list each wipe package as its own product.”

    2) I then followed this up the above exchange with the following question to the Admin. which has gone unanswered after repeated attempts: “How do I associate an amount paid for each of the items in the bundle? For example if I purchased a bundle with 6 diapers and 4 wipes, paying a total $79.95 pretax and $87.15 taxed, what value do I assign to each diaper and each wipe?”

    My answer to question #1

    If you have proof of purchase your claim submission will be as valid as the one submitted by someone who received a class member ID. Of course, if you really insist in having a customer ID # consider giving the admin your wife’s email associated to the account. (keep in mind that as the purchaser she is the class member).

    My answer to question # 2

    When assigning a value to the bundle you can opt to give each item equal value or you can get fancy and give each item proportional value as long as they add up to the total value of the bundle (tax included). Regardless of the value you list you will receive $2.50 per product listed.

    On class action settlements you don’t receive your monies immediately after filing. You have to wait for the case to be finalized and go through all relevant appeals.

    I was never sent a number or form to claim reimbursement. Why is that I stumbled upon this page and was never given the opportunity to get my money back! I’ve purchaed well over half of these items listed in bundles for years! I’m angry and very disappointed. I sent receipts in for laundry detergent, dish soap and floor cleaner for my refund the deadline for that was 11/2017 but I had no idea about the other products. Deodorant, 3 in 1 Laundry Detergent, Bubble Bath, Stain Remover, Fruit Wash, Lotion, Hand Soap none of it was on my last claim. How will The Honest Company make this right? I trusted them with my families Health again no from The Honest Company sent me anything! I found this by my own research! Please shed some light on this issue to help me understand just what the heck is going on here.

    The final hearing was on December 8. You must now wait for appeals to be submitted if applicable and for each to be resolved. Once that takes place the class action admin will begin evaluating each submission and will eventually send out checks.

    If your bundle was one of the bundles listed it would count as one product. If it was not a bundle listed it would count as individual products. You are not giving me enough information to answer your question.

      I was generated an amount over $3,000. I have been ordering from honest since 2013.
      From what your saying each monthly bundle would only allot to $2.50? Or each item in the bundle would be $2.50?
      If I ordered laundry soap, dish soap and 3 other items would that be a refund of $12.50, breaking down to 2.50 an item or is that bundle of 5 items only a value of $2.50 all together?
      If this is the case why were we given a generated number if it’s going to be incorrect?

      Those that received incorrect amounts submitted corrections and provided screen prints of their purchases. As for the inaccurate statements all I can tell you is that those were generated by The Honest Company and not by the class action administrator. There is only one or two bundles listed and I believe those are the only ones that count as single items. All other bundles are considered splittable into individual items.

    The terms of the settlement read as follows:
    You can claim $2.50 per product. Without a receipt you can claim up to 10 products, with receipts you can claim as many products as you wish.

    This means that for you to get a check for $2,000 you were the purchaser of 800 qualified products. I believe the amount listed is the amount you spent not the amount you are getting.

    I believe the class action administrator is trying to validate claims that might appear fraudulent because they received more claims than products sold.

    I’m a bundle member and have been purchasing Honest co since June 2016. I contacted Honest Co and they won’t send me receipts of my purchases via pdf form. I already filed a claim but it was denied since I didn’t provide receipts?!? What I did was take a screen shot of all of my recepits and sent them to the correct email. I’m not sure why that wasn’t good enough? Since I’m a bundle member I have record of all purchases, I’m just not sure how to send all of these receipts without providing a screen shot of all receipts?!
    What should i be doing here?!

    Hi, I received an email from another firm/website ( and completed the form. They already had my info and all my purchases in their system since my purchases were most all online through the Honest Co website (I’m guessing they had access to the database). They gave me the total I was expected to be refunded in the settlement. I read online that an appeal was filed, and haven’t seen anything since. Is there a deadline for this appeal? How long is it legally allowed to drag on before their window expires? Thank you!!

    Appeals can sometimes last years. There are no timelines as long as the judge thinks there is some validity to the appeals.
