    ADMIN – Hi Samantha,

Reach out to the class action administrator. He can answer all your questions.

    ADMIN – Hi Michael,

The recorded message tells nothing about our checks being mailed out.. Please be accurate with Admin info.. This is getting annoying that you continue taking us in circles..

    ADMIN – Hi Dena,

We are not the class action administrators. We are simply an informational publication with no association to most of the settlements. If you did not get what you needed from the admin phone consider reaching out to class counsel.

  30. David Farowich says:

Is their a live person that we can contact

    ADMIN – Hi David,

If you are having a hard time contacting the class action administrator try class counsel. You can find their info in the FAQ for the settlement.

  31. David Farowich says:

How can we contact somebody in the class action administrator for see when the sent the check out and to find out if I am getting a check

    ADMIN – Hi David,

You contact the administrators using the phone number we provide under contact. If they don’t answer you contact class counsel using the phone provided on the official page of the settlement or you call the main line for the class action administrator which you usually find in the footer of most settlements.

  32. David Farowich says:

    What is the FAQ

    ADMIN – Hi David,

All official class action settlements have a section called FAQ which stands for Frequently Asked Questions. This section is offered in tab format and it provides you with answers to the most commonly asked questions.

  33. David Farowich says:

That number you gave me is a recording

    ADMIN – Hi David,

If the class action administrator has decided not to have a live agent you can always get a hold of class counsel. You can locate class counsel information in the official page FAQ under the question Do I have a lawyer representing me?

  34. David Farowich says:

    Have they appeal the lawsuit

    ADMIN – Hi David,

The last update provided by the class action administrator reads as follows:

    UPDATE: Settlement Approved
On October 23, 2017, the District Court granted final approval to the proposed class action settlement of the Medeiros, Fanning, and Lindgren matters. A copy of the Court’s decision is here. The District Court has not yet entered final judgment. Once the Court does so, there will be a 30-day appeal period. If no appeal is filed, individual settlement payments will be distributed within approximately two months after the expiration of the appeal period. If an appeal is filed, the payments will not be distributed until after the final resolution of the appeal.
This website will be updated with further case developments as they occur.

  35. David Farowich says:

    How long will that take

    ADMIN – Hi David,

I don’t have additional information. As soon as I know something else I will post it.

  36. David Farowich says:

Is it a month from October 23

    ADMIN – Hi David,

When it comes to class action settlements patience is the best approach. Often the administrator will be delayed in posting updates. You can always call them if it is urgent. Rushing the process will not change the amount of your settlement.

  43. Raul Gonza says:

    Thank you for your response…

What is the proposal payment amount per consumer who submitted the claim form for this lawsuit?

    ADMIN – Hi Raul,

This is the way the settlement reads:

Settlement Class member compensation will vary. Certain Settlement Class members whose recorded telephone conversations have been identified from HSBC’s records will receive compensation based upon the number of recorded conversations. Other Settlement Class members whose calls have been identified as potentially being recorded will be required to submit a valid claim form (“Claim Form”) to receive compensation, which will be based upon the number of possibly recorded telephone conversations as determined from HSBC’s records. Finally, persons who are not identified within HSBC’s records must timely submit a valid Claim Form to receive a single cash award amount regardless of the number of possibly recorded telephone conversations.
