    ADMIN – Hi Gene,

    There is not.

  2. Karyn Hernandeez says:

I have been constantly hounded by toll free as well as local calls from a local number, Claiming that I owe money to some corp., or educational system even after I have consolidated my student loans and working with a litigate company. I have received threats, saying ” good luck in court” ; I have even been threatened to be dragged out of my own house if I didn’t agree to certain terms and complied to some kind of payments. When I call them back the phone no longer works or get the run around and wont be disclosed of any information as to what it pertains to. When I do get an answer alot of red flags go off, they would give me the wrong ytd, financial institution, as well as my name misspelled. This has been going on for a long time now and it has literally put alot of mental and emotional stress on me and I’m on disability for mental disorders so once you get me upset it takes alot from others to calm me down they have even gone as far as to threatening to garnish my ssi/ssdi income. Is that even legal??? What can I do to get these calls to stop??? And finally when I request this so called paperwork they have for me I request a copy to be mailed yet nothing comes in then more calls comes flooding in….. It ruins my day and i cant be productive or focus on my daily scheduled regimine. So where do I go from here cause I have 1 800 #s out the wahzoo as well as unknown local calls claiming and threatening to take me to court. PLEASE I NEED HELP.

    ADMIN – Hi Karyn,

Change your phone number. Do not answer unknown #s. When applicable file claims for TCPA settlements

  3. Cynthia Terry says:

If I can not recall if any of the pre-recorded calls and/or calls from an actual person I have received over the past year came from Monitronics, should I still fill out the claim form ?

    ADMIN – Hi Cynthia,

    I would not.

  4. Tracey delehanty says:

I got card but in my husband name he been death for 7 years im not going to respone to it probale scam.

    ADMIN – Hi Tracey,

You may apply for the settlement since you are entitled to his estate.

  5. Denene Poole says:

I have been hounded so much by these phone calls, so i stop answering them. I have also tried to call them back an the phone number is no longer in service. something needs to be done about this.

    ADMIN – Hi Denene,

That is the very purpose of this settlement

  6. M says:

What were they selling? It would help if you could describe the nature of the calls so we can determine if we are part of the class.

    ADMIN – Hi Miriam,

Home monitoring. The system is similar to ADT.

  7. nsb says:

I was called so many times by robo calls that I eventually canceled my land line. It was maddening. Glad to see these crooks get their comeuppance.

  8. p says:

How did you determine that you should send me the settlement claim form? More or less how did you get my contact info to inform me about this settlement?

    ADMIN – Hi P,

I am not the class action administrator. I did not determine a single thing.

  9. Vicky Mercer says:

I have gotten call from a local number where I live about a credit card I do not have. When I call them back there is no such number. I get calls from ADT a lot as well as Window Replacement. How do they call from a local number?

    ADMIN – Hi Vicky,

They use a computer that hides the real number

  10. Rhondaklewis says:

I got these calls too. I thought it was a scam so I hung up. They were relentless. Now how about getting rid of the smoke detector and the people who keep telling me my computer is calling them Microsoft and they need to fix it.

    ADMIN – Hi Rhonda,

That is a scam that originates overseas. Not much can be done about it.

  11. KH says:

What were the numbers used by Monitronics to call Plantiffs?

    ADMIN – Hi KH,

I don’t have that info but you can call the class action administrator to ask

  12. Kem says:

I keep receiving phone calls at my business my personal am I sell phones from a Robo call for google ads I get at least 2 to 3 phone calls a day I asked him to take me off of their list but they keep calling is there any repercussions for this

    ADMIN – Hi Kem,

You can always contact a class action attorney in your area to see if they are willing to move forward with a case.

  13. Robert Cox says:

I got this call also, they would call from every where all day long.

    ADMIN – Hi Robert,

That makes you a class member.

  14. KARLA Foster says:

Hi do I qualify for the Lawsuit settlement ?

    ADMIN – Hi Karla,

    • Sandra says:

How would I know which unknown numbers are coming specifically from Monitronics? I

      ADMIN – Hi Sandra,

How to know the unknown. That is a good question. If you recall having a call from Monitronics from a particular area code look at your phone history and include that phone # in your claim

  15. Claire Haddad says:

I have been woken up many times while taking a nap. These calls are so annoying and seem to come at the worse times like having dinner, taking a shower, napping and when it’s difficult getting to the phone. Years ago such calls never were allowed. We need to get back to a peaceful existence with no annoying calls.

    ADMIN – Hi Claire,

I also look forward to that day. Meanwhile go ahead and file your claim if you are a member of the class.

  16. dennis williams says:

I forgot the number they called from where can I get the numbers from

    ADMIN – Hi Dennis,

You could try to contact the class action administrator and have them disclose the numbers so you can match them against your own phone records.

  17. Lisa L. says:

Today I received a notice inviting claims, addressed to my father in Pennsylvania a few weeks after he died. I am his executrix and am currently working on settling his estate. How complicated would it be for me to (a) submit a claim on behalf of his estate, and (b) arrange for his estate (or heirs?) to receive the payment? Would this have to be done through probate court? Also, how likely is it that individual payouts could be much higher than estimated (asking because the estimated amount is not worth extra effort)?

    ADMIN – Hi Lisa,

Contact the class action administrator. You need to prove that you are in fact in charge of the estate. It does require a few hours of extra work but I really can’t tell you if it is worth your time or not. It all depends on the value of your time.

    • Lisa L. says:

Thank you. I’ll phone the administrator. I have state papers declaring me the executor, so that part should be simple.

  18. Nedra Carey says:

I mailed the card back in today with two numbers that match the calls your searching for. Also I filed online but different numbers. Wil the courts call me to verify this? I had a app called Mr. Number because I was receiving so any calls. Do I need to start all over?

    ADMIN – Hi Nedra,

if the numbers belonged to you and they were valid numbers you are a class member. If you submit again it will be considered a duplicate claim.

  19. Nedra Carey says:

I also had to keep spending money to change my numbers often.

    ADMIN – Hi Nedra,

We often hear similar stories. If you are a member of a class related to TCPA violations by all means file your claims to receive a portion of the settlement.

  20. J.kaur says:

Hi I received a card with a claim number and I want to know how I can find out that I’m a part of it and what the numbers are because I get so many phone calls so how will I know which number it is and which one to put on the form

    ADMIN – Hi J,

Please contact the class action administrator.

  21. Robert Amato says:

get robot calls or other calls about IRS and others

    ADMIN – Hi Robert,

If you get calls from Monitronics you are likely a class member. Please consider filing a claim.

  22. diana says:

Ppl please. The admin got our numbers because we reported the call to the Public Service Commission. That’s their job! Recently I commented that I wonder if reporting to the PSC did any good. See? It did. Also I get a long spate of calls and once I start reporting they go completely away for 6-10 months.
Still idk how the companies that call about my credit card (saying there’s nothing wrong with it but pls talk to us)

  23. diana says:

Same Diana, I intended to say- the constant recorded call saying no problem with credit card. Guess that’s a catch phrase BC I have no problems at all with my cc. I always report that number.

  24. Desiree Wanner says:

My assumption is that since not everyone in the USA got the settlement notice cards in the mail, those of us who did were sent them for a reason. My problem is I’ve had several phones/number since 2007, there’s no way to look for any calls from 11 years ago.

    ADMIN – Hi Desiree,

If you got a card you are likely a class member, by all means file a claim.

  25. Tracey Price says:

I have been getting a lot of robotic calls and 1800/ 1888/ and local calls as well saying they will take me to court not only did I put them on the no call list they find a way to get around the no call list the theats are not good they have hit my son’s phon and my mom’s phone to irs calls too not a good thing the threats of putting me or my family in jail

    ADMIN – Hi Tracey,

That sounds super frustrating, make sure you document every call for future class action settlements.

  26. Ari says:

I changed my number multiple times, I don’t remember all those numbers.

    ADMIN – Hi Ari,

If you believe you are a class member by all means file a claim.

  27. Christina L Stark says:

What if i am unsure of the phone numbers

    ADMIN – Hi Christina,

Unsure of your own phone number?

  28. Lamont Brantley says:

Lamont Brantley is NOT taking THE SETTLEMENT
YOU CAN CALL ME 🤙 AT 2037272821

    ADMIN – Hi Lamont,

We are not the class action administrator thus we are unable to call you.

  29. Tracey says:

Why is there never a list of the offending phone numbers that the calls came from?
How are we supposed to know if we received a call from this specific company when just the phone number comes up? I received countless calls from unknown numbers, individual names/company names do not appear, just the phone number. I don’t recognize, I don’t answer, period.
I would love to be part of a settlement but have no way of knowing what phone number they call from, or what call center they may use, yada yada yada…

    ADMIN – Hi Tracey,

This is because often they use a machine that hides their phone behind the number of a private citizen and they go through thousands of numbers.
