The class is defined as all residents of the United States of America who purchased any of the following Zicam products in the United States from February 15, 2011 through June 5, 2018: RapidMelts Original, RapidMelts Ultra, Oral Mist, Ultra Crystals, Liqui-Lozenges, Lozenges Ultra, Soft Chews, Medicated Fruit Drops, and Chewables (the “Products”).

Case Summary
A Proposed Settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, (the “Action”) that may affect your rights. The Plaintiff claims that Zicam LLC and Matrixx Initiatives, Inc. (“Zicam”), made false and misleading statements about the effectiveness of certain Zicam products in violation of state and federal law. Zicam denies this claim. The Court has not ruled in favor of Plaintiff or Zicam. Instead, the parties agreed to a Proposed Settlement to avoid the expense and risks of continuing the lawsuit.

      I totally agree with “bear” – most of the comments left must be old people who think that by simply leaving a comment saying they’ve purchase said item and even as far as to list the name, think they are entered into the settlement. Reading is a must, folks!

          “Old” people were probably better educated in terms of reading and writing, so it’s likely younger ones who are having problems following the directions. Many were probably promoted in school simply to get rid of them as well as to keep the graduation rate artificially high.

    I have bought the oral mist, nasal spray at least 6 bottles, soft chews, medicated fruit drops and lozenges ultra. I thought the nasal spray worked a little that is why I kept buying the Zicam brand. I probably bought more for my family but this is what I used personally.

    I’ve used several of these products and I’ve had great success every time I’ve used them, I think people that use them and don’t have any positive effect have not read and follow the directions on the package, people that cannot follow directions should not be entitled to any kind of refund, in fact they should be fined for even trying to take money from this company.
