All individuals in the United States who are or were customers of Nationstar Mortgage or BB&T Bank, on or after October 16, 2013 who: (1) received more than one telephone call made by or on behalf of Defendant within a 12-month period; (2) to a telephone number that had been registered with the National Do Not Call Registry for at least 30 days.

      Victoria, we were sent a claim postcard in the mail a few months ago. We have three mortgages with nationstar going back many, many years. We recv’d a post card in the mail letting us know about the claim and whether or not we wanted to OPT OUT, you had to let them know if you did.the hubby laughed and told me to throw the card away, I DID NOT, and today, a few months later a check for $60.05! I forgot what it was for, and googled it.
      GOOG LUCK. Better in our pocket than nationstar, who by the way bothers us with call every month GGGGRRRRRRR
      WE have another for a claim against VW, kept that card too????????????

          Same exact situation. My husband told me that the lawyers are reaching out for money. But, he was wrong! Call’s stopped and I got my check for $60.05 too! Be persistent people. Big companies will continue doing jacking you around if you don’t take a stand.

    Although I am registered “Do Not Call”, I continue receive telemarketing calls. I always state to the caller that I am on the “Do No Call” list and if they continue to call I am going to report them to the State. I am very happy that something has been done with a telemarketer to stop the calls. Hopefully, this will be a lesson learned by all other telemarketers and they stop making calls to those listed on the “Do Not Call” list. Now what can we do with those oversea callers insisting my computer needs to be fixed and/or IRS has a warrant for my arrest? lol

    I used to received these calls all the time… I just stopped answering my phone, let them go to voicemail they used to leave a voice mail but, they stop leaving messages. I’m a Nationstar and BB&T member. Just because I’m a member doesn’t mean I want you calling me.

    I have had NO calls from ACE because I already had them and they cut our rates in half literally. However, I get daily mail and phone calls from Nation Star for refinancing and my current rate is lower than their solicited rate. I want them to leave me alone and quit junking my mailbox.

    Not only do they call all the time they also send lots of letters. I have told them time and time again I’m not interested in making changes. I’ve asked that they stop calling if I want to make changes I will contact them. To no avail. I block a number and they call from a different number. This has to stop at some point. Hopefully since they are changing to Mr. Copper it will put a stop to this harassment.

You cant get a live person to save your life. The settlement took place on October 4th.     I got an enveloped in the mail from the settlement administrator in my informed delivery but it’s too cold to get out and drive 30 miles in the snow and back. don’t know if it was/is a check so thought I’d check in here to see what everyone r is saying.     I received a settlement check today 1/17/18 for $60.05. The return address is from ACE TCPA Class Action Settlement Administrator. It’s not a huge amount but I feel it was worth the hassle of being inconvenienced by those ignorant telemarketers.

      I’m still getting lots of calls for refi as well. They also send mail once or twice a week, and even send refi ads in Priority Mail flat rate envelopes. Once they even sent me a nice toy gorilla in a fancy box, with a letter asking “What does a gorilla have to do with your mortgage?” !!
      Hopefully there will be another $60.05 payment in the future. I received mine today.

    I see by many people posting they did not recall what this was for. The letter accompanying the check should have that noted.

    Now I am getting letters3-4 a week. I paid off one mortgage and they hound by mail to refi. I am still waiting for OFFICAL papers from Mr. Cooper, releasing me from the mortgage, It’s been 10/1/2017. Little to NO co-operation. I have filed with the many times, get some results.

    I received a check for $60.05. This is a slap in the face for all of the crap I have gone through with these vile people. They need to be taught good customer service. Out of $9,760.000 who are you kidding? They were calling non stop daily all hours at bed time and on Sundays. These people are trying to take my property but they will have one hell of a fight. There will be a show down. The property is almost paid off and they are stepping up their game. I will take it to the top Court, all the way. This is Criminal.

    I received a check for $60.05 drawn on your Bank of America account. The BofA refused to cash your check without payment of an $8 fee. This small fee accumulates to quite a payday for doing nothing

    The fees imposed by bank of America are outside the control of the class action administrator. I do encourage you to escalate the issue with class counsel so they can take the necessary steps to avoid similar situations in future settlements.

    Rock ON, This trashy Mr Cooper aka Nationstar Mortgage got their hands slapped and I got a piece of the pie. They still owe me about 3,330 $ from a Escrow discrepancy. HORRID Company! They are trying to force me to enroll in a automatic payment plan from my Bank Account. So they hold my mailed check payment until it is late and then charge me a late fee. The check was mailed on the 3rd of the month and they won’t process it until the 17th. They have done this 4 times in the last year.
