Class Eligibility

You are a member of the settlement if you fall under one of the following categories:

iPhone 4 and 4s Class: California residents who purchased at least one iPhone 4 and 4s smartphone from Apple or a third-party retailer between June 24, 2010 through October 10, 2011 for iPhone 4, and between October 11, 2011 through September 20, 2012 for the iPhone 4s, whose wake/sleep button stopped functioning properly within one year of the purchase date.

iPhone 5 Class: California residents who purchased one or more iPhone 5 smartphones from Apple or a third-party retailer before April 1, 2013, whose wake/sleep button stopped working within three years of the purchase date.

    I purchased the iPhone 5 in March of 2013. The wake/sleep button no longer works making it nearly impossible to use my phone.

    This type of issue should have never come up, due to Apple being a billion-dollar company.

    I had purchased an iPhone 5 before April 1, 2013, and the wake/sleep button had stopped working within 3 years of having the phone and it would’ve been too much money to fix it so I bought a new phone.

    I was very disappointed in 2011 with my iPhone 4s when after only 5months my sleep button stopped working. I thought that maybe it was just one faulty phone but it happened again! I purchased three iPhone 4s because of this. If the rest of the world did not use Apple, I would have switched a long time ago.
