According to the plaintiff, the Defendant CTVEA’s has the practice of requiring Premium Cable subscribers to lease one of its set-top boxes this practice constitutes an unlawful tying arrangement that violates Section 1 of the Sherman Antitrust Act. CTVEA denies all allegations but has agreed to settle.
