The settlement amount depends on whether you have proof of purchase:

  • Submit Receipts or Packaging – receive check for reimbursement value up to a maximum of $20
  • No Receipt – $5 check or voucher for $10 worth of Muscle Milk or Monster Milk (if more than 200,000 claims then reduced pro-rata)

Case Name: Farbod Nasseri v. CytoSport, Inc., Case No. BC439181
Case Summary:

The plaintiffs claims that the CytoSport products did not warn customers that they had cadmium and arsenic. The defendants deny the allegations, but settled the case before it was heard by the court.

So purchasers of these products will have no idea if the products actually contained these toxins, but will instead get vouchers for more of said products. Justice at it’s finest!
