Case Summary
This multidistrict antitrust litigation arose from the operative March 1, 2017 complaint, alleging that the Defendants used UPPs (“Unilateral Pricing Policies”) to control competition on consumer prices in the retail market for disposable contact lenses from discount and online stores. (PLEASE NOTE: The safety and effectiveness of contact lenses manufactured by the Defendants are *not* at issue in this suit.)
ABB (ABB Optical Group LLC) is the settling Defendant, while B&L and CVI had already previously settled this action.
Alcon (Alcon Vision, LLC) and JJVC a/k/a/ “Vistakon” (Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc.) are the non-settling Defendants.
