    I owned a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the power module stopped working twice. My wipers would not shut off, I had no blinkers or display so I did not know how fast I was going. Jeep dealership refused to tell me what the issue was, just repaired it. The only reason they worked on the car the second time at no charge was because I had my dying husband with me. Because of the issue with the module, my husband (dying of cancer) could not enjoy a short road trip for his last birthday before the cancer stopped him from being ambulatory.

    If you incurred repair or rental car expenses related to a failed TIPM you may be eligible for reimbursements. You can make a reimbursement claim for past repair expenses by sending your original receipts and/or other proof of payment to FCA US Customer Assistance.

    I took my dodge Durango 2011 into the dealership due a recall on the alternator and to find out why the air bag light was on along with the check engine light. The dealership had me pay for a diagnostic check to tell me the censor is bad regarding the air bag and the oil censor is bad as well. The gentlemen went on to tell me that the oil censor light is an internal failure with no reason why it malfunctioned, it just did however I would have to assume responsibility for the work that’s needed. A week later the wheel traction censor came on and I was told its a computer issue. Mind you the car just turn 5 years and all these things are going wrong at once. Two years into me owning the car it just cut off on me and would not start up again, the car needed to be serviced and again it was a censor that caused the car to shut down. The car has a nice look but all the problem just aren’t worth the headache.Please reply what am I to do?

    I have a 2011 dodge Durango, in which the alernator caught on fire and cause the vechicle to shutndown in the middle of a major highway. All the repairs cost $1300 and they refused to give me a loaner car until I started fussing about everything and all the complaints people have been dealing with on this particular vehicle. I have owned this truck for 2 years. Is this covered under this lawsuit?

    I purchased a 2013 Dodge Durango in June of 2013. I started having problems qith the first couple of weeks. I have a couple lights that kept coming on . I looked in my owners manual and tried to follow the instructions listed. I took vehicle to dealership and they said it had many issues. They kept my vehicle for a month and I had a rental. I calles the BBB and filed a claim because the dealership said that they find anything wrong with the vehicle. So the BBB looked into and they dealership told them that my car have several issues. Long story short this waa the underlying issue ans they didnt fix it so I ended up lwtting them repo my vehicle in January of 2014 and in Febuary this issue became know all over the US. Am I able to get this settlement they are currently trying to sue me?

    How do I file a claim? My 2013 Durango shut off while driving 30mph after i had all recalls supposedly “taken care of” at the dealership. Dealership charged me $100 diagnostic fee to tell me “electrical problems”!!

    i bought a 2015 200 but the thing was a lemon…it would slip out of gear…the radio came on and off by we decided to trade this in since because there was know and to problems ..there was the camera came on and off at any time while you had it in drive it showed you the backup display … we settled for
    a jeep cherokee 2016 …now some of the problems have shown up …due them keeping my 200 for seven months …i was not going to make payments on a vehicle i had to leave at their shop for seven month….so i told them and the bank to come out and pickup the jeep …

    I have a 2007 Chrysler Sebring with these same issues, my car actually stalled about two weeks ago and I hit a curb messing up my rim. I took it in to my mechanic and he said it is a faulty tipm, he said he has seen it before. I swear the is possessed, radio turns on and off, windows work then don’t work, right drivers side headlight flickers on and off so I finally unplug it. They should refund anyone with these issues.

    I purchased a 2011 Dodge Durango on March 13, 2016, it was back at the dealership on March 17th for issues. Since purchasing the vehicle, countless mechanical issues have arisen including having the motor replaced at 40,000 miles. This truck has been in the shop more than in my driveway and currently at the dealership for repairs for the FCW indicator that throws the truck into 4th gear immediately, causing you to slow to a stop to cut the truck off and back on to regain control!

Dodge won’t cover the repairs (car is still being fixed) because it has over 80000 miles on it. Car has 84,000 miles. I did have to pay for a rental car.     My wife owns a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee which caught fire during a trip from Mississippi to Alabama, on board was her mother and sister. The roof lining caught fire causing a lot of damage to the interior, drivers seat and the exterior paintwork. Thankfully there was on injury to mother and sister, bu my wife had toxic smoke inhalation problems for which she received treatment.
    The cause was the wiring in the vanity mirror on the drivers side shorting to ground because of faulty wire routing. This fault is the subject of recalls by Chrysler, two in fact, and on both occasions when called to do so, my wife took the vehicle to the accredited dealer, and on both occasions the vehicle was declared trouble free.
    My wife has all the paperwork from the recall visits, I would like to know if there is any class action on this issue. We live in Mississippi.

    I have a 2013 Jeep GC, Last Saturday I stopped at the store. Starting my Jeep it started to make a humming noise. There was smoke coming from the engine. I tried to restart, it wouldn’t. After a while it restarted with no issue. Next day driving to work, the batt light came on AC turned off, radio shut down, loss power steering and engine power. It broke down. Had it towed to a dealership. They informed me there was a recall on the alternator, which I was not informed. They told me the alternator was being switched out and there may be a shot that the PCM board might have been damaged due to the faulty alternator. The dealer rep. informed me that they have had numerous Jeep customers with the same problem. They told me Jeep would not replace the PCM board at their cost. It is going to be $700.00 out of my own pocket due to their faulty component. The dealer told me they have been fighting with Jeep about this and Jeep was not budging. I talked to Jeep on 4-24-18 and they told me that my Jeep had 93k miles on it and the PCM board was my problem. There are numerous of people out hear who are having the same problem.
    If this case is closed maybe a new one should be reopened. It is there defected component that caused other issues. Thank you

    I own a 2012 Dodge Durango Citadal, there has been minor problems since the day of purchase, after the first 6 months and ongoing til current. The truck has been nothing but major problems from the engine light, truck not starting due to Gas cap issues, truck shutting down while driving( everything locked up) the truck was down for a week or two because they couldn’t figure out the problem , vibration of the steerwheel when coming to a sudden stop and last a continuation of transmission issues it appears the transmission is slipping as stated from the dealers mechanic that did a test drive with me to deteriorate the problem. The Durango continues to slip gears, knocks / thunks while driving after it warms up or coming to a sudden stop. This transmission issue has been consistent but no one has been able to resolve the problem, I feel as though I am paying money for nothing, they have since worked on the truck after having it for almost three weeks and still no repair. The same day I received it back the same issue continues, and no one is returning my calls. What can I do to resolve this problem.

    I’m a very loyal Jeep customer. This 2012 Grand Cherokee is my 13th Jeep. 13 Jeeps!! They should love me. Tomorrow morning I will be picking up my ‘Grand’ Cherokee from the dealer and paying a nearly $2000 bill for the repairs. The battery light came on and of course killed everything. Had it towed for the repairs. After 3 weeks wait the dealer replaced the alternator but the new alternator died in @2 miles during their test drive and also took out the battery, TIPM and new alternator. The only piece the dealer will be covering is the alternator. Like all of these owners I’m rather frustrated and very disappointed. I am guessing I’m out of luck due to the deadline. Why is there a ‘deadline’ (dead is a good choice of words here) when the problem and shameful reaction from Chrysler still out there? Long story short, am I eligible for any help here? Thank you for the help you give us innocent consumers.

    Hello, guessing the answer will be the same as everyone else, but here goes. Bought a 2013 Dodge Durango in December 2016 from a certified Dodge dealer. About 3 months ago started to experience the intermittent issues starting it up. Would take 4 or 5 tries and then start (most of the time.) Took it to my mechanic and they could not find the reason. Yesterday it took about 20 tries, made a loud noise, then smoke and burning smell. Had to have it towed and find out that to replace the starter it will be $1400. Not even sure that will fix the bigger problem since there is a known issue. Do I have any recourse?

    I have a 2015 Grand Jeep Cherokee that has 40,000 miles on it (I bought it in August 2015). The air-conditioning had problems with it; every time I took it in, they said nothing was wrong with it. I finally took it in to get it fixed, and they said it wasn’t under warranty. I paid over $3600 to get it fixed.


    I own a 2011 jeep grand cherokee limited that shuts off while driving it. I have emailed the email address listed above with more information about it. I have contacted Chrysler many many many times and they have basically told me sorry about your luck there is nothing they can do. I have spent the past 3 years in fear driving this vehicle wondering when it will shut off and if it will cause an accident. I can’t buy another vehicle so I am literally stuck with this death mobile! Hoping to get some help please email me back.
