Can I have more money, since I’m a prepper, and have a shed full of batteries.
I know that they’ll expire, and I’ll have to throw them out in 2016, but I’m sure the [insert huge event] will happen before then.

I have filed for this and other class action lawsuits. I have gotten letters in the mail about class action lawsuits I qualify for. Yet I never get a check. It seems to me someone is skimming money in a lot of these class action suits. So how do I get paid? I filed a claim two months ago.

  18. Jennifer M says:

There’s not a lot to read in these claims, why are people stating on here they want a claim (and for other products as well)? It specifically states you can fill out the online claim and the deadline was April 10th. Not to offend anyone, but is there a reading comprehension problem in the US these days?
    It’s really rather depressing. Sigh.

  24. roger budde says:

Duracell settled. They took the least financial liability and in return they lost their “trusted” brand name along with future customers. Duracell, along with their associates will forever be tainted. Unfortunately, deception is all too common today but the scarlet letter will remain.

I was replacing the batteries in my TV remote and one exploded , scared me , it sounded like a fire cracker and I felt small amounts of the battery acid spray on my face and my arm , I went to wash my face and arm , the battery was on my leather love seat and now there are several spots where the acid leaked and ruined my love seat

  33. Mike Flicinski says:

I have just encountered damaged devices that I missed when searching for anything that was battery powered that I own when I first learned of leaking Duracell batteries way back in early 2010.

It is amazing how pervasive the leaking batteries are because sometimes something battery powered has been put away and is later discovered. Upon opening the device, if it had Duracell batteries in it, the batteries have leaked.

Here it is, 2017, and sure enough, the rebates have expired.

I will NEVER buy a Duracell product again and will tell anyone who will listen of my experience.

    I call the batteries DURA-LEAK

  34. David Butler says:

At one time a premium battery, but now, the very bottom of the batteries available.

They have ruined 2 high dollar Fugi cameras, 4 expensive flashlights, 3 wall clocks, several battery powered measuring tools in my shop. Not to include countless dectrive lights and toys.

I feel the profits gained by this company at the expense of the customer due to poor quality and cheap labor is criminal.

  35. Joan E Simms-Ashbrook says:

I received a check issued April 8, 2016; It was Paid to the Order of incorrectly using my first name TWICE. Due to health issues I didn’t act on it until I just relocated it this afternoon. Hope I can have it reissued.

    Thank you.

    ADMIN – Hi Joan,

Way too late. You are very unlikely to get the check reissued the class action administrator is no longer available to handle this matter.
