You are included in the Settlement Class if you reside in the United States and used a credit, debit or other payment card to make (or attempt to make) a purchase on between August 10, 2016 and February 9, 2017.

Case Summary

The lawsuit claims that GameStop was responsible for the Security Incident that occurred and asserts claims such as: negligence, negligence per se, breach of contract, breach of implied contract, unjust enrichment and violation of the Indiana and North Carolina consumer protection statutes. The lawsuit seeks compensation for people who had losses as a result of the Security Incident.

    This settlement is mainly designed to help you cover expenses associated with the misuse of your identity. You will need to provide documentation that you incurred such expenses. In addition you need to have a claim # which was issued by the class action administrator.

    my son makes or used to make purchases online and we even received a letter from them tell us of the breach I wish I would have known sooner we missed the deadline two fraudulent purchases came through only one code was used the big one the other we were able to recover because I contacted merchant.
