Case Name

James Roy, et al. v. Titeflex Corporation, et al.,
Case No. 384003V
Circuit Court of Montgomery County Maryland

Case Summary

A proposed Settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit involving corrugated stainless steel tubing (“CSST”) manufactured by (1) Titeflex Corporation (“Titeflex”) sold as Gastite® and, (2) Ward Manufacturing, LLC (“Ward”) sold as Wardflex® (“Defendants”). The lawsuit claims that Defendants’ CSST is prone to perforation and possible gas leaks, fire, or explosion when energized by direct and indirect lightning strikes. Defendants deny these allegations and claim that CSST is not defective. There has been no determination of wrongdoing by the Court.
