You are a Settlement Class Member and part of the Settlement Agreement if you purchased or received a Groupon Voucher issued during the time period from November 1, 2008 until December 1, 2011 for redemption at a merchant in the United States and your Groupon has not been redeemed or refunded and you are (or were) a resident or a purchaser of a Groupon intended to be redeemed in one of the following states: Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington.

    You can file a claim by clicking on the orange link directing you to the claim form. Once you are on the claim form you will follow the instructions as provided, fill in the blanks and click on the link for submit. You may have to refer to your Groupon account to obtain details about your unused Groupon.

    I purchased a tanning for my daughter and she never used cause they would not redeem, no refund. Not a good company!!!They marked as redeemed but my daughter never used. she had to cancel her appt and they counter the cancel as redeemed. They said if you cancel it counts!!! Ripoff

    I already filled out a claim form for the LAST class action as I bought Groupons to places that no longer existed or maybe they never even existed and lost money. I also had some that I never used and could not get reimbursed either. Do I need to fill out another claim form?

    I wish someone would start a class action lawsuit for this same issue post December 1, 2011. I have the exact same complaint, but I purchased my Groupon December 2012. I don’t fall within the dates of this lawsuit, but I was also the victim on the same basis of the expiration date/redemption/refund refusal.

    I have about 20 unused deals. 3 of them cannot be accessed to get the information required. Groupon will not answer by email, and the wait time by phone is 3 hr. Now what?

    Now you claim as many as you can claim and forget about the remaining three. Your time is valuable and waiting on hold for three hours represents three hours wasted. If you make minimum wage that is a little over $20 that you just gave away.

    I tried filing a claim but the form will not accept the expiration date of 06/07/11. Groupon shows the deal as having never been fulfilled. I have the printed voucher. Is June 7, 2011 out of the required dates? The deal was purchased on Dec. 6, 2010.

    I am seeking a refund in regards to a purchase that was made in July 12 of 2015. I purchased a aroma fresh ripple Aromatherapy essential oil humidifier differ. My cost was 88.11. It was ti have a one year warranty thru aromatherapy. The company is not in business and groupon on will not stand behind this nor refund. The product also is no longer available for ordering. They are legally obligated to refund this amount if the supplier cannot honour this. I will be seeing if this is not refunded

    If you were a member of the class you would have received notice via email. If your Groupons expired after the implementation of the no-expiration rule they still have cash value for the amount you paid.

          If the admin has closed the contact points the best bet is to reach out to class counsel, however at this point you probably no longer have legal recourse.

            I have just been informed by a representative at Rust Consulting that they relatively recently finalized the calculations and submitted them to Groupon for disbursement to the individual claimants. As far as he knew, the disbursements have NOT yet been made by Groupon, but should be relatively soon. Naturally, I’ll believe it when I see it.

            He did not know if Groupon will be giving their customers notice of the “payment,” but indicated that the entitled amount would appear in one’s Groupon account. He suggested to keep an eye on my account for a credit/deposit. He also stated his understanding that the pro rata share will not be the 130% previously reported.

            So, I’ll continue waiting to see if my “windfall” will appear.

I too have been waiting and checking the grouponvouchersettlement.com site regularly to try and find out when the payments will be issued, and hope they will go out soon so we can put this behind us.

      Some positive news!!
      An hour ago (March 27, 2017) I received an email from Groupon notifying me that I will be receiving credit from the class action settlement. Apparently, within 3 days I will receive account credits that have to be used within 9 months. The claims exceeded the settlement sum, so the amount is pro rated.
      A contact phone number is listed, if necessary: 844-298-4322.
      There is mention that if your account has been deactivated, it can be reactivated and reset.

    I have had some terrible news come my way, I filed a claim only to find out Groupon CLOSED MY ACCOUNT for “Inactivity” when I had a $50 credit on my account I was waiting to use at a future date. The phone # listed does not have a dial tone as I have been trying for days to find out status on my claim. What is going on? Why would Groupon close an account that had a $50 credit applied? I find this EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS.

    I would advise against anyone booking a trip or making vacation reservations through Groupon. You do not have a safety net as it relates to natural disasters. This company will not help or assist you in rescheduling. I booked a trip to the Dominican Republic and the hotel will not allow me to reschedule because Groupon made the reservation on my behalf. I have attempted to speak with a representative from Groupon and the only way to contact is through email or live chat. The live chat representative could not help me at all and I am still waiting on email response from the Getaway Customer Support. I was scheduled to check into my hotel today 9/6 at the CHIC in Punta Cana but due the Hurricane I can not. I was told by the live chat agent that Groupon could not help me. However, the hotel rep stated all they needed to do was call and they had no problem with moving my reservation. Due to the reservation being made through 3rd party they could not allow me to do so. It is my birthday and I want to enjoy my trip and get what I paid for. Customers beware!!!

    Groupon please stop putting people through Hell and quit with the Getaways, quit advertising just shut down. The customer service is horrible, no one can help. No accommodations offered to help the people that help keep your company up in running. A natural disaster can not be helped, Groupon you should help your customers with changes and offer excellent support. I will be reporting my issue to the BBB. This isn’t fair to customers?

    This is Total BS. I purchased a GroupOn back in 2011… filled out all the necessary claim forms and met the criteria. the purchase was $60 and all i got credited was $38 and change. I have been waiting for over 5yrs for a full reimbursement and this is the best that can be done. The email and Phone number no longer work and GroupOn keeps dropping my Customer Service call. I will never do business with GroupOn.

    Just like feelingcheated & Steve – I had $25.18 in the account and they took them back out (I never knew about the money till last night when I looked in my account – hadn’t bought groupons for several years till last night).. They said there’s nothing they can do (really, it’s nothing they want to do). Groupon has NO incentive to make good on that money they took away. No incentive to make sure we knew they were putting money in the accounts. No reminders that money was expiring.

    There should be a 2nd class action for this. We will be cancelling that groupon we bought last night and won’t use groupon anymore.

    follow up to my last post. I wrote to CEO and CFO how I and others here missed out and at least I won’t be using groupon anymore. They forwarded it to customer disservice and I got this email:

    Sorry for any trouble. In March of 2017 we sent an email out to all Groupon customers who received Groupon Bucks from the class action lawsuit settlement. In this email, we advised customers that they had received a credit and the time frame they had to use the credit. The terms and form of the settlement are the result of a court ruling.
    Unfortunately, we cannot re-issue Groupon Bucks that were issued as part of the settlement if they expired before you could use them.

In talking with many other merchants and reading some very disturbing accounts, I wonder how we can request A conversation or even send a message to the attorneys that were involved in order to seek the possibility for another class action lawsuit against Groupon. I can’t seem to find who the attorneys were as they are familiar already with the schemes of Groupon and might be able to assist us in another class action lawsuit on the merchant side.

    OMG! I placed an order from Groupon on April 6th. The order was for a class ring and I was charged to my credit card but when placing the order I could not give any information as what I wanted on the ring. Then a site connected to Groupon called Limoges had the same thing and with there discount and the Groupon coupon I only paid $4.99 shipping. I tried emailing rhem to cancel the order for the $59 one and to credit my card but as of yet it has not been done. I’m still waiting on the ring to arrive but said it takes 6 to 8 weeks to receive it. What can I do to get the $59 back?

    So back in May I made several orders to Groupon for some graduation gifts. Two days after ordering I realized that they had some funny address for me and we’re shipping the items there. I immediately called Groupon who assured me they would fix the situation. After countless hours on the phone, hundreds of emails, many many online chats… they are not willing to rectify the problem! They don’t care! It is a matter of over $800- and I cannot be the only one who has had this issue! If you have had a similar problem please tell me? I am planning on hiring an attorney to keep this from happening to other people! If you have any recommendations for a good attorney please let me know?

    All of my expired groupons as well as groupons purchased up to July 2018 have disappeared from my account. I have spent many, many hours trying to get them back or be compensated for them. None of the “live chats” have been successful and usually the individual states that they do not handle Canadian grievances (this after wasting much of my time). I do not know what to do to get satisfaction. I have numbers for some of the groupons which are gone from the account yet not even expired. I cannot find anyone who can do something t help me. This is corrupt and I feel like I have been robbed. I have two email account and have disclosed both to no avail. Ironically, I can keep on purchasing new groupons though.

    I am having issues with Groupon at the moment. They are refusing to reimburse for cancellations due to Covid with anything but Groupon Bucks. If anyone is filing another class action, I would like to be included — as do probably thousands of others that I read about in Consumer Affairs.
