Case Summary

On January 28, 2015, HOA sent the Text Message to the Plaintiff and many other recipients. Plaintiff contends that he and many other recipients had informed HOA before January 28, 2015, not to send any future text messages. The Plaintiff contends that a federal statute, known as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) 47 USCS § 227, prohibited HOA from sending the Text Message to these recipients. HOA denies any wrongdoing, and no court or other judicial entity has made any judgment or other determination of any wrongdoing. Nonetheless, to avoid the further costs of litigation, HOA has agreed to settle.

    I got this email: “This is to inform you that the Gift Card which was awarded to you in the Etzel v. HOA, LLC class action settlement was sent on April 11, 2018 by Cashstar from the email address”
    Cashstar was included int my accepted email addresses and I have checked spam nonetheless. The message has not arrived. I contacted Cashstar, but after a search they said they had no record. I listened to the many comments at 888-334-1086, but this did not help. I checked Hooter’s Gift Card site, but it had no record of the card. I visited the website and it only suggested what I had previous attempted.

    How do you contact the class counsel? I am also having the same problem as others, received an email stating my card was sent but I never received it. Also checked my spam. Called and it shows no record of being sent.

    I have received a eGift card and went to use it and there was no money on it .
    I called cash star they only send them out and said there is no history on this card.
    I tried to call HOA and the number don’t work.
    I feel this is a scam an I the only one in this

    I opted into HOA TCPA Settlement Administrator c/o KCC Class Action Services back before Deadline of December 20,2017 it is now 2020 and I never received payment. I even spoke with Representative of your establishment to make sure you had the proper address. The Representative stated that she noted my updated information and when payment was dispersed I would receive it. I will note my information at the bottom so you can look up and please give me an update.
