  1. David says:

If I was in Cincinnati on business and bought something for my wife and son @ a Justice store. Can I file a claim?
    Thanks

    ADMIN:
Justice only carries fashion for tween girls. What did you purchase for your wife and son? Per the settlement you can only claim if you are a resident in Ohio.

    • Ascena employee says:

Some Justice stores carried styles for boys or had an entire boys section. We only recently began phasing out the boys section of my local store in February. So it is entirely possible that he purchased something for a boy.

  2. JD says:

I am a Ohio resident and I buy stuff from Justice all the time for my 3 girls. So – – – I will file a claim. BUT – – – I can only file if I print it out and mail it in? Shheesh – Talk about trying to discourage Class Members.

  3. JD says:

Oh wait – – – there’s more – – – you have to have it notarized as well! Are you kidding me? How do I complain to the trustee??

    ADMIN:

  4. Barb says:

Does this include Internet purchases as well if you are a resident of Ohio?

    ADMIN

    Hi Barb,
From what I read in the settlement this only applies to store purchases.

  5. Thelma S says:

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THE CLAIM FORM MUST BE NOTARIZED AND THAT IT ONLY APPLIES TO OHIO’S RESIDENTS. THANKS FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE.

    • Amber Lund says:

I agree. I lived in kentucky at that time and would take my daughter shopping over in Ohio all the time because we lived a half hour away. Now I live in illinois. But regardless, I purchased in Ohio, but I can’t file a claim. Bogus!

  6. Tami Crum says:

Hi I purchase everything for my 13 year old from Justice I got the papers in the mail, but could you please tell me step by step what I need to do? Where it says estimated amount 12 dollars does that mean that’s the amount we get back?

    ADMIN
    Hi Tami,
If you click on the link to claim it will give you clear directions.

  7. Karen says:

Boy $12 is ridiculous , it cost $4 for a Notary and then you have to find one and drive to them. They are getting off really cheap, one of their sale items are more than $12

  8. Allen Payne says:

This settlement is more of a headache than it’s worth keep your 12 and stick it up your lawyers ass

  9. Sara Swingle says:

Ohio resident who has purchased multiple items from here.

  10. christina caputo says:

Is there a chance anyone knows how to contact (email or phone ) for the tween brands (justice stores) settlement administrator? There is no contact info on there site.

  13. Clinton Kirker says:

When will the money be release?

    ADMIN – Hi Clinton,

The deadline to file was in June. Sometimes it can take as long as a year for the monies to be paid if there are no additional appeals.

  14. Rick Schramm says:

I received two checks for $12.00 each in July 2015. These checks were misplaced and never deposited. The checks state that they are to be voided if not negotiated within 60 days after the issue date (7/13/15). Is it possible to receive new checks? The check numbers that I have are 00010100 and 00010001. Hoping that new checks can be reissued. My address is 1083 East Walnut Street, Westerville, OH 43081

    ADMIN – Hi Rick,

I am not the class action admin. You need to contact the admin directly to see if the checks can be reissued. You can find their contact info by scrolling up.
