Case Summary
Named Plaintiffs allege that Kelly violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by running background checks on employees and applicants without making legally required disclosures.
Kelly disputes the Named Plaintiffs’ allegations and denies all liability to Named Plaintiffs and the Settlement Class. Kelly denies Named Plaintiffs’ allegations and has raised a number of defenses to the claims asserted.
The Parties are settling the Litigation to avoid the risk and expense of further litigation. No court has found Kelly to have violated the law in any way. No court has found that the Named Plaintiffs could recover any certain amount in this Litigation.

Hi there Chad, I was wondering the same thing. I follow the case on the website and it was approved for payout on August 11. Not sure what’s taking so long.
I got the notice in the mail stating Kelly Services being sued and if I wanted to excluded from it. I chose to claim and fill out the claim online, as it was one of the options. It stated that my claim was received. Just need to know if any news about people receiving checks yet.

I don’t have an update on this settlement. Usually the checks are not sent that quickly after the final approval. It takes several months for the admin to get all his duckies in a row.

Every class action has a different model of administration based on what the court recommends. Some staff a hotline some just leave a message. Keep in mind that the more money spent in admin the less money available for you.

Well who would know that. Or if it was sent to the wrong address. I changed my address when I moved to Indiana from Florida and no one updated the information. Trying to find any information about anything is not happening because you never get a REAL PERSON to speak to.

I received a card in the mail, filled out the information and mailed it before the deadline. I still have not received my check. I wrote a letter to the administrator office giving them my information, email address, phone number and home address, after calling the 1-800 number over 30 times before realizing that this number is of no help to anyone. I have left a message for Joe Hashmull at the 18004246690 number also. I have yet to get a response from anyone. This is very frustrating since you can never speak to a REAL PERSON to see where your check is. Hopefully, someone will respond before the 180 day date on the check that it expires on and all of us can receive and cash the check that was promised to us.How about giving us a REAL phone number where we can speak with a REAL individual that can help us .
