Class Eligibility

You are a member of the settlement if you purchased any four, six, twelve, or twenty-four pack variety of Kona Beer from February 28, 2013 to June 14, 2019.

Eligible Varieties of Kona Beers Include:

Longboard Island Lager, Hanalei IPA, Castaway IPA, Big Wave Golden Ale, Lemongrass Luau, Wailua Wheat, Fire Rock Pale Ale, Pipeline Porter, Lavaman Red Ale, Koko Brown Ale, Kua Bay IPA, Gold Cliff IPA, Kanaha Blonde Ale, Liquid Aloha Variety Pack, Island Hopper Variety Pack, Happy Mahalo Variety Pack, and Wave Rider Tandem Pack.

Estimated Amount

Class members without proof of purchase can receive up to $10 per household and class members with proof can receive up to $20 per household depending on the number of eligible Kona Beers purchased. The following payments can be claimed for each eligible Kona Beer:

a. 4-pack Kona Beers: $1.25 per unit
b. 6-pack Kona Beers: $1.25 per unit
c. 12-pack Kona Beers: $2.00 per unit
d. 24-pack Kona Beers: $2.75 per unit

Proof of Purchase

Yes, if claiming more than $10 worth of purchases per household.

    I filed a claim with you but did not print the claim #. I have purchased Kona Longboard since I visited Hawaii in 2016. I order it out at the Ocean Breeze Bar here in New Smyrna Beach all the time. I definitely thought it was a Hawaiian brew. Guess I was mistaken! Could you send me my claim #? Thanks. – Arthur

      Hi,¬†Sharon. Sorry to hear that. However, since we are only a newspaper of class action settlements, we have no direct connection to the cases we report about. As soon as we hear of open settlements, we post the news here; what happens to the settlement after that, we no longer post about. It’s up to our subscribers to follow up directly with their respective claims/settlement administrators and/or check directly on the settlement website (always linked above) for updates.
