Hawkins v. Kroger
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California
This is a trans fat labelling case. The defendant claims that Kroger was misleading in labelling their bread crubms as containing trans fat when they did in fact contain small amounts of trans fatty acids. The defendant denies the allegations. After six years of litigation the parties settled the case.
