Yeah it should be pretty obvious that it doesn’t work. Do about one minute of research before buying stuff like this.

    But the commercials…

  15. Jennifer Newton says:

I purchased the KT Tape Recovery + Ice/Heat because the advertising suggested I could receive immediate pain relief and increased mobility with use. That was not my experience using the product.

  27. Denise says:

This KT Tape lawsuit sounds like lawsuit abuse. As an avid, long distance runner I’ve used KT Tape several times and it worked. But I understand, everyone is different. Just like taking a pain reliever for a headache, most times for me it doesn’t work. I’m sure I’m not the only one this happens to. But you don’t see a class action lawsuit against Tylenol or Motrin, etc. Why are people so quick to sue?? Smh

    ADMIN – Hi Denise,

I use the tape myself. I think in this instance the marketing claims were exaggerated but the tape does work for some applications.

  28. Angela Allensworth says:

I bought some black KT tape in the pre-cut selections and tried to use it on my knee and foot injury. After watching numerous you tube videos about how to apply, I was not successful at finding any type of relief from the pain.

      How long does that take?

      ADMIN – Hi Shiloh,

How long does it take to get a settlement? From months to years depending on the appeals process.

  53. Pam says:

I too, like Shiloh am wondering where my settlement is. I understand all avenues must be exhausted, so maybe you could just let me know where you are in this process?

    ADMIN – Hi Pam,

    The website reads as follows:

The Court will hold a hearing on June 6, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the United States District Court for Massachusetts, U.S. Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Way, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, to decide whether to approve this Settlement.

If the Court approves the Settlement after that, there may be appeals. It’s always uncertain whether these appeals can be resolved, and resolving them can take time, perhaps even more than a year. You may continue to check on the progress of the Settlement by visiting this website.

The judge gives about 90 days for appeals to be submitted and then however long in takes to resolve the appeals. It can be months or years before we see any funds.
