Michaels Credit Card Fraud Settlement
The settlement covers people whom used a credit card or debit card at one of the following Michaels stores:
For class members who suffered fraudulent charges, the settlement provides compensation for any unreimbursed out of pocket expenses associated with credit card fraud suffered by class members, plus two years of credit monitoring.
For class members who did not suffer fraudulent charges, the settlement provides for one year of credit monitoring.
Clearwire will also forgive all debts owed by class members as of April 30, 2010 that were still unpaid as of December 7, 2012.

The plaintiffs alleged that because of a data breach at Michaels, some customers using a credit/debit card were the victims of credit card fraud. Michael’s denies the charge.
Ironically to get compensation you have to give more personal details to the same bozos that leaked your personal information in the first place.
