Case Summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance is accused of being responsible for prerecorded robocalls that a lead generation company called Variable Marketing, LLC made and transferred to Nationwide Agents asking consumers to “press 1” to receive auto insurance quotes. Allegedly, prerecorded robocalls from another lead generation company called MediaAlpha transferred to Nationwide and telephone calls Nationwide and/or its alleged vendors made to persons registered on Nationwide’s Internal Do Not Call Registry for more than 31 days.

    I have received multiple robo calls from insurance agencies wanting to give me a quote on insurance.

    “Your phone number must be listed in our records as one of the phone numbers that was called by Nationwide or MediaAlpha and included as part of the settlement. If you are not certain which of your phone numbers may have been called, you may submit each of them separately.”
