Each person and entity throughout the United States: (a) to whom Navient Solutions Inc. placed one or more telephone calls; (b) directed to a telephone number assigned to a cellular telephone service; (c) by using an automatic telephone dialing system; (d) after Navient Solutions Inc. designated the telephone number to which it placed the call(s) as a wrong number; (e) between May 4, 2011 and January 26, 2017.

Case Summary
Johnson filed a lawsuit alleging that Navient Solutions, Inc. (“NSI”) violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227. Toure and Heard filed a similar lawsuit. NSI denies Johnson’s, Toure’s, and Heard’s allegations. The parties have nonetheless agreed to a settlement.

Their is something wrong that this number does not come up in the data base because it diffidently should be in there as a number called by Navient automatic dailer.

    I did as well. I lived in california and my son was in school in IT. Navient has been a nightmare, and abusive. I tried your claim submission but it clearly has not been setup fully I suppose since it says it does not recognize my phone number. Please correct this. Its not fair Navient gets away with this abuse.

    Who do I contact about this? My loans were through Sallie Mae and Navient latter. Navient and Sallie Mae were the reasons I had to use software to Block the monthly almost sometimes weekly and some multiple per day. Fix your database as its not complete, thats not right.

    I want to know when someone is going to start a class action against Navient fka Sallie Mae for all of the compounding interest and other charges Naviet charged after it took over Sallie Mae?? As well as failure to abide by agreements for payments, discharge and other such agreements borrowers made with Sallie Mae and Navient did not abide by those agreements. When is someone going to hold Naviet accountable for the excess fees and charges for student loan borrowers whose loans just increase every year and they have no accountability?

    I have received a countless number of calls during work hours and off not happy about this as per my phone rang off the hook metaphorically speaking most embarrassing while in meetings even when set to vibrate or silence just watching the number pop up in the screen was distracting enough not happy about this seems unprofessional and annoying.

    I have been receiving so many calls i don’t know who and where they are coming from but i know some say phone owner, unknown. I answered one he told me he was from the federal government i couldn’t here him i was on my way to the doctor to take my son. I just want them to stop calling. I had a car loan also that was financed with different companies combined into banks they have to help people but put higher interest rates on the loan once you miss a payment and do abide by their verbal agreement in which the operator is telling you on her screen when your payments are caught up and ahead a payment you have eight payments if you get sick. I told her good because i had to have surgery some time on my knee and she told me i could use them all at once. But when it came down to it i had a stroke and they wouldn’t even let me use none claimed they didn’t know what i was talking about i told them when i filled out my paperwork for the loan i took out and additional form if i got sick my payments would be paid that is why i paid extra for it myself and the operator told me i didn’t write her name and operator number down.

    My name is Doneva, I’ve received hundreds of unwanted calls from Solicitors of every kind as well as constant scam calls claiming to be computer repair co. & IRS tax collectors.
    I am & have been registered on the “National Do Not Call Registry” for 15+ years & I have filed complaints with them on lots of the calls I’ve received but after so long you get tired of filing complaints so you stop but the calls continue.
    I started logging the #s in my contact list & filed all of them under the listing “scam calls do not answer” so if same # is used I see it & don’t answer.
    I tell a lot of callers, ” I’m on the National Do Not Call list so why are you calling me? Then they just hang up on me. Some #s call & if I don’t recognize the number I don’t answer it then I block my phone and call it back at which point I get one of two things: it’s either a number you can’t call back and it just hangs up or recordings answer the call and say push to to be placed on our Do Not Call list.
    They’re all annoying & never stop calling! I have no idea who or what company they are! Please check my phone# against your list, it’s. (503) 453-4773. Thank you for all you to putting an end to these extreme nuisances. 🙂

Just happened twice . I don’t know what company this really is but they are not who they say they are and they are not the federal student loan forgiveness program. my 3rd time I question why are you class action and then go to a agent as giving answers that are not what they want then get disconnected and being told differentthings he repliedThey said they are there to help us to consolidate our student loans and other loans? because of Navients lies Funny I thought my student loans were already forgiven . why do I keep getting calls about i the matter from so many companies all yr round. for 5 to 7 yrs now.I have been told after telling them I already have , forgivness that I need to go through their forgiveness program. the other was not legit because there were others but who I was speaking to was that Navient. ,I also been told that my number or name wasn’t on their list. toeven being sent applications.. no even after I have been sent my letter of agents to retract and consolidate because forgiveness is not good and ruins credit..     You will note that the class action administrator is based out of Minnesota. Generally speaking but not always the checks originate from the same location where the class admin is located. As far as the number of days you can expect for a check to be in transit you can safely assume it will be sent via first class mail. First class mail averages 1 to 3 days for delivery. Keep in mind that the September 20th date is just a target date and the admin is not obligated to send all the checks on the same day.

    In short, if you have a deadline-sensitive objective with the money such as a vacation or paying your rent you may want to have a plan B.

    There is no contact information that I can find that can answer the questions Is there a contact person to get information. It seems that people are having trouble getting the checks cashed. Could you please post the updated contact information. The 80o number is no help whatsoever. They give you 120 days to get the check cashed.

    The goal of a settlement is not to address your personal struggles as a single mother. The key objective is to punish a company for legal violations and share the penalty levied in equal parts among all of those affected the amount you received is your equal share. You cannot request more.

    I have filed my claim, my issue is l have received my check and it was delivered to me late, due to I didn’t have a regular mail carrier and mail, was delivered to other people’s home, because I received other people’s mail…and I returned their mail back to the post office also..please reissue me another check I will so ever be greatful…is there a phone number I ca contact someone directly, beside the phone listed.. I’m under the doctor’s care as well.

    Once the checks have expired it is unlikely that you will get a reissue. You can always try to contact the administrator but I doubt it will get you anywhere


    I received a second check settlement for $52.43 and US Bank In Morristown, TN says my check is being rejected why is that. US Bank in Morristown, TN cashed my first check in the amount of $510 so why is my second check being rejected need answers please

    I have been paying them for a couple of years. Found out they were charging me twice the amount of interest
    They have there scare tactics. They call and call until you answer. If I had the right company I could have already paid them off. There were 4 loans and they were charging me interest on them all. It’s a shame they profit on people that don’t really understand.

    My student loan has been in forbearance for quite some time now. I had gone through a financial hardship due to helping my wife with paying on her student loan. My student loan was placed into forbearance and then my wife was diagnosed with cancer and had to stop working because of her going through chemotherapy treatments. My wife eventually passed away from the cancer. So the lost of income became a major issue. So Navient offered to place my student loan in forbearance. And at the time I was unable to pay back both loans so I allowed them to place my loan into forbearance. The loan has accumulated so much interest. And at 58 years of age I don’t know if it will ever be paid off. Also as a public service worker no help was offered other then the forbearance.
