I found the product was misleading to it being organic ..and I did not find it improved my hairs overall nourisment.
Wow. You and people who sue for crap like this are pathetic. I don’t have anything to do with Organix, but your statement is the epitome of lawyer savvy. Learn how to spell nourishment, too.
noooo company that lie on their label to get your money is pathetic..!!!!..
Can you please clarify if this lawsuit is for California residents only?
ADMIN – Hi Kathy,
The Organix Settlement is NOT for California only. It is available to all 50 states.
Had used this product for a couple months at my friends house where we swapped over many of our purchases to only organic products. I wasn’t keen on the product but figured it may have been alright since it was lumped into our organic purchases.
I remember using this. I was starting to suspect it wasn’t as natural/organic as it claimed. However, the smell is still pretty nice. What a shame.
I agree with you Stephen. The spelling is incorrect but they are saying that it is organic.
The only thing good about this product is how good it smells other than that I got the same results from a way cheaper product.
Same here — it smells like pure heaven. My sister kept smelling my hair like an addict.
I thought MAYBE it just wasn’t for African american hair I was definately mislead.
The smell was really nice, but when it says “organic” you expect it to BE organic.
“the product [name] is mispelled after all!”
Right? But it’s still pronounced identically to “organics”. I could see another class action coming out of how the company discriminates against the illiterate in claiming that the *spelling* should tip everyone off.
These companies are just shameless.
Claiming money for used item
Bought their products for my daughter after Dr. suggestion to start using organic products. She had developed an auto-immune disease. Organix was my first purchase-shampoo, conditioner, the whole line. Only after buying refills did I realize what I was getting. Never purchased again, but my step-daughter buys all their products. Buyer beware, I guess.
Another example of greenwashing. Ridiculous!
It did not work for me.
When I tried filing a claim, it says the deadline has already passed but this says the deadline isn’t until next March. Help?
I am so disappointed in this company. I have alopecia & try very hard to nourish my hair with only the best products. Over the past year & a half I have been using the cherry blossom shampoo & conditioner intermittently with the brazilian keratin shampoo & conditioner, the keratin straightening spray for special occasions, & the 14day keratin treatments :'(
Kerry, go to the dermatologist and get a Cortisone shot. There is no known cure for alopecia. Organic products will not help you.
I use this shampoo and love it. I never had a thought that was organic. I use it for the awesome scent.
Same here Kayce. I use the coconut scent and love it. I never cared if it was “organic” or not. It IS supposed to be sulfite free and non-sulfite hair products are not supposed to strip the artificial color out as quickly as ones that do…so they say.
I just started using the coconut water shampoo and love it. Agree with you.
Do people get that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A NATURAL SHAMPOO? Cleaning requires some level of chemical compound to remove debris. Or am I supposed to believe there are coconuts in my shampoo?
People are idiots. Grow up. Wash your hair and stop suing because you’re wasting taxpayer money. Arrggh!
I use Organix shampoo all the time. Mainly because it’s one of the few shampoos that I can find that is “Sulfate Free.”
Sulfate Free shampoos are great for people who color their hair. Helps maintain the color since it doesn’t have the stripping sulfate.
used this product for a while, but am now trying another product I’ve used in the past. I thought it was organic.
I really liked using this because I thought it was organic and better for my hair. What a waste of money…
This stuff isn’t good at all. My hair fell out and I was in tears. I went from long pretty healthy hair to short and bald and ashamed.
LOL, yeah right
Its hard too find a product that truly stands behind it’s name and and is truly for all hair types I notice my hair was drying out then I begin to comb and brush and get it with big huge globs of my hair I truly believethe could return more money too us we as woman our means aa lot to us its the first people notice when appearing in the public eye so by the time you purchase reconstructors and go to the salon you end upspending aa lot more money or even purchase a wig or weave is expensive and I’m not big on that stuff I love my natural hair so I hope that they will consider all this factors when considering a settlement amount please cause its not fair 8-50$ I’m truly suffering I’m too embarass to post my bald head and I’m in tears just writing about it going my own hair to barely two inches and I have a husband too it horrible I can’t write no more but please please consider more of a settlement because it just isn’t fair thank you and god bless
Does anyone know if the claims on these settlement products are one per household? For instance, if my wife and myself purchased products at separate times can we each file a claim?
ADMIN – Hi Christina,
It looks like the limit here is per person, not per household. So you and your wife could file separately if you both purchased the product.
I feel even worse. I bought it for someone else to use.
I like to use organic hair and skin, because its a shampoo that you can use on colored hair
I like using Organic hair shampoo , because one of the few that you can use on colored hair.
the lotion has a nice smell but my hands still feel dry. the shampoo doesn’t really help my scalp.
My aunt would put this in my hair every week. Thought it was bullshit but tried it. Disappointed I wasn’t putting organic oil in.
I found that this stuff is harsh on the scalp.pulls all the oils out of your hair
Doesn t work like they said it does. Dries my hair out.
Tried this shampoo but found that my hair was getting drier each time I used it. Not very good ingredients if it dries your hair. I won’t use it again.
Yea, I work at Walgreens and bought the Biotin and Keratin shampoo and conditioner thinking it may help with my scalp condition because it was organic.
I’ve used this for many months and loved the smell especially the coconut, but if it states organic it should be, I would like my refund.
On 3/23/14 about 2pm EST, the link was a 404 error code.
I guess you didn’t bother to read the deadline for submitting claims. All info you need is at the top of the page.
I found the product was misleading to it being organic. I did not find it improved my hair overall nourisment.
They just gave this away at our food pantry as an extra you could pick.I must say it smells great, makes the hair soft and can’t imagine suing over this.but I was misdiagnosed about a serious heart issue and no lawyer wants to sue a Dr…..wow!
Has anyone gotten their settlement check yet? The claim closed about 2 months ago and I have yet to receive a check.
I used it and don’t like it. I want a refund.
nothing in LA. YET
I LOVE the brown bottle (with ginger)!!!! It is the only store bought conditioner that works on my hair!!!! No lawsuit needed!!!
I purchased this brand of shampoo and conditioner because I use organic products. I purchased many bottles and now knowing they are not organic I will not be purchasing from you anymore! I want a refund!!
My wife received her check today. $16. 1/03/2015
two checks 20 dollars each today without proof.!!
