        I got riped off for over $8000 from November 2017 – February 2018. I tried to dispute it with Rush Card but of course it was denied. I do not understand how Rush Card allowed transaction when I had the card and got a new one in January with a different number. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran on a fixed income.

          RushCard is a rip-off!! I’ve been a cardholder since 2011. On the 19th of April I was refunded a little over $1800 to my account. When I logged online to see if my refund was available, I noticed that my account was closed. After speaking with a representative, I was informed that there was no explanation for the closing of the account and to expect a check in the mail within 5-7 business days.

          I’ve still not received a check or have access to my funds. Today, I called three more times, was placed on hold 30 minutes or longer each time, and was finally told I didn’t have money refunded. After a verbal battle over my money, I was told an investigation has to take place. They needed to know why the refund wasn’t showing in my account. And afterwards, they would release funds. Which is MEGA BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Thank goodness for screenshots! This is the second time that they screwed up my money. I will no longer use the services ever in life again and will strongly discourage others from utilizing it as well. It appears that there may be another class action lawsuit in the near future. Cardholders apparently are not aware of this settlement. Wonder who is responsible for that?

      Rush card tied up over 1,000.00 that was on my card for over a month and I was never made aware of any class action lawsuit and received nothing for all the inconvenience!

    I have also repeatedly been promised my check, they said that they would be out by the last week of March. So here it is March 31st and no damn sight of it, all they keep saying is thank you for my patience, but if they only knew how upset I was they wouldn’t be thanking me for my patience. I’m about ready to contact another attorney and sue them for the money they owe, and also for the retroactive from the first checks issued that they told me was sent back because they told me they didn’t have my address!!!!!

    I filed a claim and recieved a check for $11.79. I have been a Rush card customer for years. My husband was a Rush card customer for 5 minutes, he recieved a check for $5 and some change and a few months later he recieved a check for $100. I.m thinking i should get a lot more than $11. I took a loss dealing with Rush Card.

    i got a letter stating that i would be getting a check for 500.00 i have been waiting for a way over a year i keep checking the web site calling visa rush card and i still dont have a check no where in my letter dd it state that i had to fill out a claim form.i did however call the number on the letter and put in my claim my fiance got the same letter and he also called the number on his letter and put in his claim. the letter stated if u did not want to get a separate lawyer then i was automatically filed for the claim we both got the same letter. was it all just a scam. we could really use this money we have been rushcard memebers for a long time since 2012

    I got a check that was sent out and returned due to mail overflow i ended up getting this check in may and it was expired i have been contacting rush group since the middle of may the check is only good for 90 days after all the confusion and things i have went through with rush they need to be glad its only $100 anyways i contacted some nasty “Ghetto” female that was in charge of the funds who answered what emails she wanted from me and said i’m sorry your funds are no longer available the cut off was june 1st and we can’t issue any more checks we donated the money to charity. I do not believe that for one second and how can you donate money that does not belong to you who gives a ppl 90 days to cash checks my bank even said for a settlement that don’t sound right you couldn’t even get a re issued check without sending the original check back at first i was going to have them shred the check right then and there but my bank said you should be entitled to your funds its yours what do you do in this situation ppl beware and we have deposited tons of cash to rush. the only reason i still use it is a check way to transfer money state to state and that’s it beware when using this card thats exactly why it was a lawsuit in the first place and i see more coming!!!

    In reading the terms of the settlement it does indicate that funds left unclaimed will be donated to charity as assigned by the judge. This is a common practice with class action settlements.

    I still haven’t gotten my settlement check yet and I was told I was. I just closed my account on the 26 of July 2017 due to fraudulent activities on my account and the dispute was denied twice and had the proper proof so I told them to deactivate my card and close my case. Will I still receive my check?

    I have been a RushCard holder since 2005 and I submitted the class action for being effected. There has been many occasions where money has been taken from my account and impact me financially. I like the convenience of having payday few days early but I don’t like the fact of hard earned money being taken and nothing being done .
