We buy overpriced movie candy all the time 🙁
unlawful empty space AND they want to charge $7 a box?! Time to pay back what you owe!
ADMIN – Hi Gino,
At my theatre the box is $3.50
We are common movie goers and every time we go to the movies we buy atleast 3 boxes of movie candy who keeps receipts for that Smh.
ATTENTION:: ALOT OF THESE BOXES OF CANDY ARE SOLD AT WALMART AND OTHER RETAIL STORES. My son gets the cookie dough (says movie box on box) everytime I let him choose a box on at WALMART also they are only a $1 or so yhere and fit in your purse. Makes it where theatres only rob ya for tickets and drinks. I absolutely refuse to pay for ANY of their boosted prices for the exact same thing yall shouldn’t either
ADMIN – Hi Melissa,
Sounds like you are a class member.
I bought few candy boxes at the movies
$7-$8-$9 For a handful of candies are just OUTRAGEOUS!!! I’m “lower middle-class” WITH 7 children, ages range from 9yr. old twins, to 17yr. old…I’m just trying to provide for my off-spring…and, make sure they know their achievements are recognized.
ADMIN – Hi John,
Seven children!!!!!
wow…. you wanna bitch that it costs so much to feed your 7 KIDS? who’s fault is that? should have stopped when you had the twins…. if that’s all your gonna do is complain it costs so much to take your tribe to the movies, stay home and watch netflix……
ADMIN – Hi Chad,
If John wishes to be fruitful and multiply it is not up to us to judge. 😉
I wholeheartedly agree with Chad’s comment! I had ONE child…and even then, I knew better than trying to buy theater candy, You go to the Dollar Store and buy the candy there to take to the movies with ya!
ADMIN – Hi Caiden,
While I agree with your mean counsel I have edited your comment to avoid conflict.
I do buy movie candy but not $7 and $9 a box and certainly not if I was lower middle class and have 7 children!!
ADMIN – Hi Dr N,
My limit is $4 and I a more in the middle class category.
Half filled boxes of candy
my kids always get “movie candy” at the movies, along with popcorn and soda.
we spend alot of money on the movie and all the goodies.
it’s ridiculous just how little candy there is in the big box.
the candy is eaten in no time, many times before the movie even starts.
the only good thing about this big empty box is that you can blow in it and it will sound hike a horn.
I paid upward of 8.00 per box X2 boxes. That’s a lot of expensive air…
ADMIN – Hi Brian,
Where is home for you? In Texas each box is $4.50 at the movie theatre.
terrible, over priced and the candy wasn’t full or good!
ADMIN – Hi Maureen,
Heartbreaking indeed.
Stale and not good at all paid way too much for this product
all they are going to pay is $1.00 with out a reciept!!! WHO THE HECK SAVES ALL THESE RECIEPTS?????? Its a disgrace!
I find the price outrageous but still bought it for the kids in the movie theater. found it to be stale.
Outrageous price, but still bought it for the kids in the movie theater. found it to be stale.
This cookie dough Bites was stale and nothing in the box. Over priced for the amount you get in a box, it should at lease taste good:(
That’s why I buy them at dollar tree everything there is a dollar
Me and my significant other went to the movie theaters here locally and of course I grabbed her favorite candy which are cookie for bites, just a cool $7 for what was supposed to be a good snack. We open the box in I promise you I thought someone ate half of our candy. I took it back to the movie theater workers and they proved to me that the boxes all come half full.
ADMIN – Hi Jacob,
That is the whole idea of the settlement.
Way over priced for what it is..Not good at all..
Yes place my name on the list.
ADMIN – Hi Renee,
We can’t. You must file your own claim.
Please add me to the list of past customers.
ADMIN – Hi Carol,

This settlement is awful. Movie candy is very deceptive and expensive. $1 max for not keeping receipts is awful, and $12 with receipts is also terrible. Wish I cared enough to start another lawsuit.
I bought the over priced movie candy a few times for my kids and nephews and nieces when we go to the movies and I am not satisfied at all with how much you get per box and half the time the kids won’t eat them saying they taste funny
Over priced for the amount you get not worth it
ME AND MY FRIENDS HAVE SPLURGED ON THAT EXPENSIVE CANDY .BUT ENJOYED THE POPCORN THE MOST,YOU SPEND A LOT OF MONEY AT THE MOVIES
I have bought these at the movies and found them to be a rip off with the small amount you get for the overpriced candy
I HAVE BOUGHT THESE ITEMS AT THE MOVIES BUT THOUGH THAT THE PRICE WAS WAY TO STEEP FORTHE PRODUCT
ADMIN – Hi Minnie,
Sounds like you are a class member.
Every time I go to movies I get boxed candy
I always purchase an assortment of these candies while at the movies
ADMIN – Hi Osvaldo, if you are a member of the class by all means file a claim.
The limits are 4 boxes at $0.25 each for a maximum of $1.00 without proof of purchase, or 50 boxes at $0.25 each for a maximum of $12.50 with proof of purchase.
ADMIN – Hi Ann,
Correct
I bought them at them at the movies an they was old an stuck together
ADMIN – Hi Shakiya,
Please refer to the terms of the settlement.
Over priced candy that’s not worth it.
I BOUGHT IT FOR THE KIDS EVEN WHEN I NOTICES THAT THE ITEMS WAS WAY OVERPRICE
Way over priced and you only ( if your lucky ) get a half a box of candy , I’m really not much of a complainer but I was always taught closed mouths don’t get fed.
Candy is way overpriced, but when you bring children to the movies it’s hard to say no, and you don’t want to have to explain to your children that you can’t afford their treats.
Every time we go to the movies a minimum of 4 boxes of overpriced candy has to be purchased. As a family we go to the movies about 3 times a month, so it really adds up.
purchased two boxes at theater
who keeps these receipts almost no one does
ADMIN – Hi Tom,
There is an option to file without.
the candy is way too high
Please add me to the list.
ADMIN – Hi Barbara,
If you are a member of the class consider filing a claim using the link provided.
I bought movie theater candy boxes for my granddaughter and I .
I don’t mind paying for what looks like a good treat but I do mind paying too much for something to taste old
ADMIN – Hi Marty,
This settlement has nothing to do with the freshness of the product.
Add me please .me my boyfriend youngens and grand children are avid movie goers ..part of going 2 the movies are havin snacks and drinks ..so yes we buy for all of us the boxes of candies …for 3.25 a box and they’re not 3/4 full and old taste at times….they get good $ we should get good product….we go at least 4 times a month…family outting..would appreciate some $ refunded. Ty
ADMIN- Hi Sue,
I can’t add you. You must file your own claim.
Candy was too expensive anyway.
I they were all stuck together
I go to the movies twice a month to see the new releases and I buy eats and a drink every time I go
