Case Name
In re Tommie Copper Products Consumer LitigationCase No. 7:15-cv-03183-AT District Court for the Southern District of New York
Case Summary
The lawsuit alleges violations of consumer protection and warranty laws, and claims that Defendants misrepresented the ability of Tommie Copper Products to relieve pain, including arthritis and other chronic joint and muscular pain; aid in injury management; accelerate or speed muscle and joint recovery; and improve muscular power, strength, and endurance.
Tommie Copper denies it did anything wrong, and the Court has not made any ruling on the merits of the allegations of the lawsuit. Tommie Copper, however, has chosen to provide its customers with a cash payment and/or vouchers for Tommie Copper Products rather than spending additional money on litigation.

Cuts of my cerculation thought it would different
ADMIN – Hi Jennifer,
That is borderline dangerous.
Please add me to the class action lawsuit
ADMIN – Hi Jeffrey,
Use the link provided to file a claim.
I dunno guys, you want light compression, not heavy, if its cutting your circulation, don’t use it. I do a lot of hand work and I’m a little worn down, nerves around muscles etc will inflame if injured if even lightly, compression helps keep them in check, I wear a 3 way situation, copper glove, a wrist support and a sport fingerless glove, works for multi-support for me and protection. Just a wrist support doesnt work when some pain is in the hand. Not completely perfect, but helps.
Now I know why I can’t find these in the stores. I want to see them back out, maybe some modded literature on the package. Don’t wear them continuously, if you get a little pain, throw them on for a short. Arthritis maybe a differrent animal, but if it can aid a little bit, why not. It will warm up the hands a little.
Hello I have purchsed 3 knee compression sleeves & a back brace. I haven’t found comfort with any of the items. Please add me to the class action lawsuit.I still have the brace & compression sleeves. But I may not have my reciepts. What is considered as proof?

Circulation reduced greatly, and painful
ADMIN – Hi Sandra,
This settlement is not about reduced circulation. The reason for this lawsuit is as follows: misrepresented the ability of copper-infused compression fabric sold under the “Tommie Copper” brand name to provide pain relief, accelerate recovery, and improve muscular power, strength, endurance, and injury management.

I received a Paypal payment for $7.85 on Jun 29, 2018, from the class administrator Classaura LLC. I was originally supposed to be eligible for $100+ on this one, but they severely underestimated claims, so $7.85 is the new maximum. The updated settlement website now says:
“Update June 2018: The settlement has received final approval. We anticipate making payments by the end of this month. Note in the final ruling, the court modified the settlement agreement to limit reimbursement to a maximum of five products (see here). Due to the large number of claims, payments are $1.57 per product (with proof of purchase) and $0.79 (with no proof of purchase).
June 29, 2018: Payments have been sent to class members requesting Paypal, Amazon, or Voucher Payments. Checks have been mailed, and should be received over the following two weeks.”
I filed on line and asked for a credit on my next purchase. But have not received any notice on if I will receive a credit for the 7 plus capris and leggings I bought before lawsuit. They should notify us if a credit is ready to use.
I love their capris.
ADMIN – Hi Liz,
Reach out to the class action administrator.
I filed my claim have my claim number and I ‘ve not heard anything. I asked for the credit towards next purchase since you were to get more money, yet still no credit applied.
I love my capris and leggings and shorts. I have over 7 so I would like my credit so I can apply to my new purchase.
What’s going on????
ADMIN – Hi Liz,
Please reach out to the class action administrator.
I have filed a claim over 4 months ago. I am still waiting for payment. This appears to be extremely slow. Are they paying or was this a come on to sell more product since a discount was offered as an alternate settlement.
ADMIN – Hi Stan,
This settlement was paid out a long time ago. You no longer have escalation recourse
