  2. Tramaine Henderson says:

Requested a copy of my credit report …noe a victim of identity theft

    • Barbara says:

Have you received it yet? I requested mine (not on here yet) because a family members bankruptcy was on it during the years they are talking about. Anyway I try to keep up with it but haven’t received one recently. Not sure if they are backed up on just regular request so I’m hoping this will help. If you have/haven’t received it how long did it take or have you been waiting? Thanks

  3. Felita hammond says:

    Include me

    ADMIN – Hi Felt,

I can’t include you. You need to file a claim using the instructions provided.

  4. Nelson Achord & Barbara Achord says:

My mom’s bankruptcy was on my credit report. I haven’t received one recently to see if it was ever removed. Does it even matter if it was removed or am I still entitled to a settlement? I had no involment with her home or any other finances of hers. It did stop me from getting a very small loan & credit card. I was told this by a company by accident then I requested a report to verify that yes it was on my report.

    ADMIN – Hi Nelson,

It sounds like you are a member of the class as long as your situation took place within the dates disclosed.

  5. Trina says:

I qualify for both, I did request and receive a copy of my credit report, and had innacurate reporting. The claim form does not say anything about requesting and receiving a credit report and any proof of that so I did not send in the proof of that. Do they just assume that class members who file a claim requested and received a credit report, or do they have records of that? They did not say anything about it on the claim form. I’m not clear about needing both parts in order to receive the settlement.

    ADMIN – Hi Trina,

To obtain clarification on all matters related to this settlement you need to contact the class action admin.

    ADMIN – Hi Jeannie,

If your inaccurate reporting refer to the types of categories described in class eligibility you should consider filing a claim.

  22. Sandra Ahrens says:

I ordered a credit report and the
credit report showed a bill that was not ours

    ADMIN – Hi Sandra,

Your situation is not included in this settlement

  23. Valecia says:

My mom’s bankruptcy was on my credit report within these dates. But when I folloq the steps to file my claim, I don’t see one listed for bankruptcy.

    ADMIN – Hi Valencia,

This is not exclusively about a reported bankruptcy. There must be other factors of incorrect reporting in order to be able to file.

  24. Raja Rajan says:

A criminal named Annamalai Annamalai filed cases of involuntary bankruptcy against a number of individuals all over the country in 2016. This Annamalai criminal was already in jail when these cases were filed. The credit scores of his victims immediately plummeted. All three credit bureaus contributed to this situation by immediately dropping the scores. Transunion was the first to pick up the details of these fake cases and happily complied by reporting to lenders, banks, etc. I really hope that Annamalai’s victims get some relief and force Transunion to pay. BTW, I hope a similar case is also filed against Experian and Equifax. These three agencies should all be shut down.

  25. Michael Norsworthy says:

I have negative things on my report should have came off but it didn’t i had to hire a law firm to get them items off

    ADMIN – Hi Michael,

If the negative things in your report are related to the terms or class eligibility you should consider filing a claim.

  26. Amy Carroll says:

I have a whole lot of items not belonging on my credit bureau. A d my boyfriend had TransUnion reports him as 50&60 years old and he is 30.

    ADMIN – Hi Amy,

I don’t think this relates to age.

  27. Bertha Byerson says:

How can I get a copy of my old credit report to submit?

    ADMIN – Hi Bertha,

    Contact the credit bureau

  28. Donna Andrews says:

I still have claims on my report that they say shouldn’t be there and it still is and has been for years. Making my score worse than what it is. It is very frustrating.

    ADMIN – Hi Donna,

if you are a member of the class by all means file a claim.

  29. Evelyn Ray says:

Concerned about info on my credit report

    ADMIN – Hi Evelyn,

  30. Kimberly Hicks says:

I submitted the additional information regarding my claim ID NO. 0700022142 over 3 weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything as of today.

    ADMIN – Hi Kimberly,

You can reach out to the class action administrator using the contact info we posted above.

    • Tonika says:

Kimberly, I am in the same boat (sort of speak). I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General in my state. In addition, I have sought independent counsel. CLA Legal is non-responsive as well. I am considering filing a complaint with the Bar Association and sending a letter to the Judge regarding the non-responsiveness / status.

  31. Tonika says:

I filed a claim with via the Transunion ADR system. Contacted the Class Action Administrator, she stated that they are months behind and slow to respond. I sent several certified letters to request an update, still no response. On Friday, January 18, 2019… I will send all copies of certified letter to my state’s attorney office (she’s amazing by the way). Per the settlement, all ADRs will be processed within 21 days. It appears to be taking over 45 days to process. Anderson v. TransUnion ADR Administrator is slow or no response. With that said, they really should extend the deadline. I hope my local state’s attorney can push them to respond faster!

    ADMIN – Hi Tonika,

Hopefully you are able to get prompt resolution

  32. David Mayo says:

I know I’ve seen these on my credit report. But I’ve no record of it still. Can I still qualify?

    ADMIN – Hi David,

What have you seen on your credit report?

  33. Barbara J Smith says:

Negative errors on my credit score, plus kept taking money off my work check card. Disputed it, but nothing was done to get my money back.

  34. PA says:

The website is not loading today at all. Im using Firefox Quantum 65.0 32 BitOS

  35. Rosena Davis says:

    wrote and received reports from credit report. I sent in letters explain items that should not be on my report;

    • Angelica (Admin) says:

Hi, Rosena. Sorry to hear that. However, we (classactionrebates.com) are *not* the settlement/claims administrator of this case — we are only an online “newspaper” of various class action settlements involving various companies. Please check the settlement website and/or contact the Settlement Administrator directly, if you haven’t already done so. The details are stated above; just scroll up. Thank you, and best of luck.

  36. Kate says:

My medical bills were on my credit report. When I have health insurance that covers 100%, a report from when I was 18 stayed on my credit report for 27 years and no matter how many times I refuted it, it was never removed until a few years ago. Because of the many things misreported, I’m unable to be approved for housing and I am homeless. I tried to click on the link, and it’s not working and time’s running out for me to put in a claim.

ADMIN – Hi Kate, Sorry to hear all this happened to you. Hope you were able to contact the Settlement Admnistrator directly via the Contact information provided above, since you could no longer access their Claims Form webpage two days before the claims deadline. It’s possible they took down the claims page prematurely — and if they did, they shouldn’t have done so.

  37. Denetra Anderson says:

I was never evicted, never received papers, and moved out before any adverse action was even taken. I found out last year that the eviction was on my records. It was only removed when I filed Chapter 7. There was also a lien in lieu of foreclosure as well. Two previous bankruptcies that were never completed, also showed up at different periods.

ADMIN – Hi, Denetra. Sorry to hear that. If you chose to file a claim, we hope you’ve received your settlement by now.

  38. Kimberly Gregg says:

I submitted my claim and recently received the W-9 Tax Release which was signed and mailed to the settlement Administrator. What happens now?

    • Angelica (Admin) says:

  39. Kimberly Gregg says:

I filed my claim. A tax lien was paid in full 2/2012. It remained on my credit report until 2017. I faxed, emailed a stamped copy of the paid lien several times, and still was not removed until this class action. I mailed my W-9 release form 3 weeks ago. I sent an email to the email address provided and they are clueless about the process.

  40. Denise Robinson says:

Possibly a victim of identify fraud by requesting my Credit Report!

  41. Kimberly Bell says:

TransUnion reported my car loan and our three mortgages as being discharged in bankruptcy. We did file chapter 7 in 2011, but the car loan and mortgages were not included in the bankruptcy. The errors on our reports were discovered when I requested my report in 2017. I disputed the errors and finally got them removed. This year I disputed that they had the paid off car loan as still open and they corrected it by putting the discharged in bankruptcy back on my report. Does this type of error qualify for the lawsuit?

ADMIN – Hi Kimberly, Sorry to hear that. 43. Stephanie Fletcher says:

My bankruptcy showed when I was trying to do a building purchase. There should be a record of mine which I probably no longer have, but the fact that I did make that purchase, I’m sure Transunion has a copy.

  44. Charles says:

I filed for a credit card last year. It was denied due to a bankruptcy showing up on my report. I never requested a copy of my report. My bankruptcy took place in 1995.

  45. Robin Tompkins says:

Hello, yes. I have requested a TransUnion credit report and my Bankruptcy was still on it, so do I qualify?

    • Angelica (Admin) says:

  46. Joe says:

Hi, I requested a credit report around the time of the data breach with Equifax in 2017. Never received the report; got TransUnion and that other company. Equifax one supposed to be free, was literally not there. Contacted NY attorney general that was aware of what was going on; however, we don’t know what they did with people’s personal information. Am I eligible for this class action?

    • Angelica (Admin) says:

I NEED TO FILE AN COMPLAINT AGAINST TRANSUNION

    • Angelica (Admin) says:

Hi Marlon, Thanks for your message. Sorry to hear that. However, if you reread the information above, the claims deadline already ended 03/20/2020. You can still try to contact the claims/settlement administrator directly. Contact information above. You can also check the Settlement page directly for any updates. Good luck.

  48. Bill L says:

Wow, glad I check back on this site, just on a whim (had followed it during the Harbor Freight thing). Looks like I could well file on this one. We were house-hunting in 2010, did a pre-qualification in April, and found that there was some incorrect Federal tax lien information being reported for me. Took a couple of tries to get Transunion to correct their records. Luckily, I kept a string of back-and forth emails between our mortgage broker, us, and Transunion, including one from them advising they had deleted the inaccurate records…also has a transaction number. Hopefully, that will be enough to support a claim.

Actually, Equifax was the worst…couldn’t get anywhere with emails or their “eastern” call center, even though the error involved information that could be easily checked and verified online. Finally, through another source, got the contact info for a person in their Atlanta office (an upper-level executive assistant) who was extremely nice and competent, and had the matter fixed in just a few minutes.

    • Angelica (Admin) says:

Hi Bill, Thanks for your message. However, if you reread the information above, the claims deadline already ended 03/20/2020. 49. Wendell Parker says:

There was an erroneous Forclosures on my report that has since been removed

  50. Kerry V Munter says:

Transunion has consistantly violated law by not abiding by 1st of month updating accounts and falsifing info to third parties. It has a history of consistant errors in credit reporting with inaccurate information and has a past record of non-compliance with any degree of fairness towards consumers. This company makes it all but imposible to contact with a complete pre-program of elusive runaround deception and excuses to hide their total incompetance and deceptive business practices.Being in bed with the feds it is not suprizing the amount of illegal bullshit that this company gets away with. They are part of the problem, and the solution would be to shove an e-lax down there throat so they would vanish.

  51. Kimberly says:

I actually came across this class action suit information while looking up another company. And I had had a problem back in 2014 with the 3 credit bureaus not correcting my credit report after a tax lien had been paid. The reason I found out it was still on my credit report was because I applied for a loan and was denied. So I researched my credit report and it was still showing open. Needless to say I had all the emails to the bank and also had a copy of the dispute that I filed with TransUnion. I copied this information filled the form out and sent it in for a claim. I was initially sent a letter saying they needed a copy of my lien showing it was paid and I had a copy so I provided that. I then got a letter saying I was approved. And although it took 8 full weeks on Saturday I did receive a check in the mail for $1500. I haven’t seen where anyone has posted actually receiving a check, so I wanted to put a post out there saying that I did indeed get paid. Thank you.

  52. Lauren says:

Transunion refuses to update my report accurately. I paid off my credit cards in full (as suggested by their credit simulator tool) which reduced my credit utilization rate and my score actually dropped 22 points. They could not explain why. I then successfully had a collection account removed completely and there was no change to the score. So basically they told me my score was the same with or without a collection account listed, which is absurd. I do not have this issue with Equifax or Experian. My score with them has changed according to the positive account activity that has taken place. With Equifax & Experian, my score has increased almost 100 points after paying off the credit cards and having the collection account removed.

  53. Alice Bell says:

I thought a credit bureaus information was suppose to be able to establish credit. To send letters in the mail about the information was to delete negative replies. It was to delete negative items off of the report. The new report was suppose to reflect a higher score. I was never able to receive any major credit cards.

  54. Marlin Boyd says:

My credit report showed unknown billing of third party creditors that should not have been there not impacted my credit score placing a lien on it 2here I am unable to purchase credit cards until hold is lifted.
