Did this for about 24 to 48 hours then fall sleep never woke up pass away .I had mine dog for 12 years.I thought it was dog treats or dog food .but didn’t no for sure and time I got money to try take her to doctor she done pass away from the food making her sick .I pretty sure it was the dog treats and dog food .because she usually ate left over what ever we all ate .but this week when she got sick I left town for 1 week and she had eat dog food .within 2 days me being home she pass away .and was fine before I left. nothing wrong with her she was running around playing with the kids .

    • Marvin says:

Sorry for your loss. Just a word of advice to anybody reading this, always check labels. Look for food made in America. Always avoid foods or toys made in China. They have no regulations or ignore the ones they have. Often they use hard chemicals to make food look or smell better or ” fresh”. They even used chemicals for baby formulas. I know sometimes money is a problem, but is better to give your dog left overs than unsafe food. Be safe, not sorry.

    • dkiehl says:

I also lost 2 Standard Poodles to this crap. I was a horrible death I had them for 9 & 10 years. Why is this only Missouri?

      ADMIN-Hi Dkiehl,

There was a class action at a national level but the deadline has now expired.

    is terrible

  8. Ruby G says:

Ridiculous that it’s only in Missouri! I have 3 yorkies all under 4 lbs. & while we were out of state visiting family in the mountains I bought these treats for them. It nearly killed them! They all developed severe diarrhea. Unfortunately there were no local er vets offices (nor could I have afforded taking all 3 anyway). Luckily I recognized what the culprit was after my larger dog ate 1 & developed the same thing. It was the chicken jerky treats & my dogs are use to the listed ingredients. Shut these companies down that offer treats from China! Thank God for pepto bismol & nutrical!!

  9. frederick ramey says:

  16. Andrew McAmis says:

I bought this brand and noticed that my dog Arora was acting unusual and not her self, took her to the vet clinic and they said it was bad dog treats,i pass through Missouri quite often going from texas to Indiana and refuse to stop for even my self to get anything that’s not from my house or all organic!

  17. Dwayne C says:

  18. Eveline Smith says:

In March of 2012 our little Shih-Tzu, Molly’s kidneys quit because of Wagon Train chicken jerkey ttreats. We spent $800.00 to try to help her and she passed away a week later anyway. I talked to the Wagon train people at the time and they wanted my vet to send them a letter proving it was the treats and not something else. He said how could he prove it, so nothing ever happened. I warned friends and family not to buy treats made in China, but not only was that little Molly our friend, but she was an expensive dog and then we spent another $800.00 to try and save her when their treats made her kidney’s fail. I hope that you will be sure this doesn’t happen to any other people little dogs. Thanks, Eveline Smith 660-238-6346 (Cell number)
