    Is there anyway to know if they did this to you? I sometimes get calls about prescription stuff but I dont know if its from them because I always hang up or never answer in the first place

    If you don’t answer we are pretty sure your cellphone goes to voicemail which would allow for you to have a recording of your reminder. If you don’t have that chances are you are not affected.

    not only that over here in orange county california one pharmacy had fill narcotic pain medication then any pharmacy in oc, a employee told me this no name and there were breaking up prescriptions calling my doctors making them believe I me was doing something they were breaking them so people could afford them they called all my doctors and told them I was getting excessive prescriptions therefore losing a doctor. I’ve been at Ralphs pharmacy during Walgreen scrutiny with the Dea they are getting tore up that’s what causing delays for all pain med and the added a kids doctor with a medication I don’t even take. called all my doctors costing me one just because they broke my rxs offered then turned around said it was me if I were you I’d pull out . funny I’ve had no problem at raps I hate walgreens.

    I used to get those phone calls, too. I would always answer them, mostly. I had several go to voicemail, but I stopped using Walgreen’s January of this year and transferred all my meds over to a local, family-owned pharmacy. I had a few reasons for dropping Walgreen’s. Those automated calls I would received were during a time I knew it was not time to reorder for the next month. I can only have a prescription filled a few days prior to the date filled of the previous month. I hadn’t caught on yet in the beginning. I would accept those calls and confirm the refills. I would call the pharmacy to see if the meds were ready to be picked up. They had no idea what I was talking about. I would always call prior to driving as it is hard for me to get around. I even had two instances of me being run out of medication because the prescriptions were marked that I had picked them up and when I would call, as usual, to see if my meds were ready they told me no because insurance had denied them because I had already had those meds showing filled and picked up. Um no. That was a huge run around to get fixed. I also had two times my pills were short a few. I get some benzo-type drugs and high -level pain meds. I’ve had the medication for so long that I must subconsciously know when the bottle doesn’t feel full. My anxiety medication was short 5 pills the first time and my pain meds were short 4 pills the second time. I could not do anything about it once I had signed and paid for them even if I was still at the counter. I had to actually have the pharmacist take the stapled bag, open it himself, and do a recount in front of me. He was so indignant and angry that he had to do this and he let me know that he was busy and didn’t have time for this. We had a few loud words at the pharmacy counter with other store guests behind me. I was not leaving without a pill count and I let him know why. I asked him why he was so angry and every time he just answered he was too busy to be doing trivial things as verifying my pills count in front of me. I let him know that only a guilty person with knowledge/participation in shorting pills would be so angry. That was the last time I had anything filled there. So, not only was I receiving these automated calls I had two incidents I should have reported to the authorities, but didn’t. So, do I have to prove I have received calls? I delete voicemails after I have no need for them.

    You don’t have to prove it. Instead you have to provide the phone number where you received the calls and sign a sworn statement indicating that you did in fact receive the automated calls.

    I have two different files for my meds which i receive separate automated calls for. It been a few years since i tried to have walgreens just have one file open to prevent me to return for a second pick up. To this day its still the same and its a head ache to have walgreens look up both files and wait extra time for my second medication.

    Yes, I have been notified of the Walgreen’s Class Action Lawsuit. But, every since last year around July or August. I haven’t received a check or nothing, why?     The pharmacist at Walgreens have been stealing some of my medications I’ve been shorted out pills numerous of times in the store manager will not do anything about it I would like the pharmacist to be arrested and I would like the DEA to investigate this I am mentally ill and I am on psych meds and I need my meds and I’m tired of them getting stolen so hopefully someone will help me be represented in this class action lawsuit

    Sadly this particular case has nothing to do with medications getting stolen. TCPA has to do with businesses contacting you on your phone without your permission.
