Hello. I filled out a claims form a few months ago before the hearing. I qualify to be a part of both groups. I did not receive any confirmation or anything regarding this matter. What and when should I expect to hear from someone? Please reply to my email. Thank you.

      ADMIN – Hi There,

To get information specific to your claim please contact the class action administrator.

      • Thomas Elwell says:

Submitted a timely claim form with complete information including product registration information.
Have not received a check or any information whatsoever indicating acceptance or rejection of my claim.

        Please advise.

        Hi Thomas,

I am afraid this was paid several months ago and there is no longer recourse to escalate as the admin has closed shop.

        • Ely says:

Hi, same. I qualify and submitted well within the deadline but didn’t receive anything. 🙁

          ADMIN – Hi Ely,

I am sorry. Since more than 90 days have passed you may no longer resolve this.

  3. Jason B Penn says:

I’m unable to open the claim form . can you email me one

    ADMIN – Hi Jason,

I can’t. You have to contact the admin for the settlement.

  4. Emily Spiers says:

Unable to access the claim form also. Any updates to this?

    ADMIN – Hi Emily,

They are still working on privacy issues.

  5. Tal says:

Purchased and used in Canada. Not entitled to the claim?

    ADMIN – Hi Tai,

It appears the terms of the settlement do not include Canada.

  6. Jim F. says:

For all those that aren’t able to get claim form to open, I recommend trying with a different browser or from phone or other device. It just opened fine for me.

  7. Kraemke says:

Form wont open for me. Have tried chrome, safari, and iOS. Also, we won the device as a prize and used it and the app. Not sure how to go about getting the receipt.

    ADMIN – Hi Kraemke,

The form seems to be working now. As for proving that you have the device please contact the admin, he may have alternatives for you.

  8. Antonio escobedo says:

What if I can’t find proof of purchase but I bought two of these?

    ADMIN – Hi Antonio,

If you purchased online I am sure you have the email receipt somewhere.

  9. Richard Long says:

What if mine is in use and I can’t find the number. To much vibration is going on.

    ADMIN – Hi Richard,

We strongly suggest that you refrain from using the device without taking a break.

  10. Stephanie says:

I bought it at a southern womens show April of 2015 but I don’t know where the proof of purchase would be but I still have everything what should I do

    ADMIN – Hi Stephanie,

If you used the app I am sure the admin has record of your purchase.

  11. Erica says:

How do I prove I’ve downloaded the app and used it since I purchased the product in 2015? Is there a serial number or something like with the product itself? I want to make sure I’m included in both classes and fill out the form correctly. How do I prove the app?

    ADMIN – Hi Erica,

The class action admin will be better able to guide you on this matter. Best of luck!

  12. Gio says:

If I have the purchase on my online bank statement showing I purchased from a store where I live, will that be sufficient? Also, my wife and I both downloaded the app, are we entitled to a claim each?

    ADMIN – Hi Gio,

Contact the admin to check if your statement is sufficient as a proof of purchase. As far as you and your wife having a claim I think every person that downloaded the app needs to file separately.

  13. Alexis says:

Hi, I sent a claim form via post mail, I have not gotten an email or any confirmation that it was received. How can I check the status of my form submission?
    Thank you

    ADMIN – Hi Alexis,

You can reach out to the class action administrator.

  14. Ashlee says:

What if I can’t find my receipt???

    ADMIN – Hi Ashlee,

Contact the admin to see if you have an alternate way to prove that you purchased the We Vibe.

  15. Maegan says:

I filed a claim and have a claim number. Not sure if I did it correctly, if I needed proof of purchase. I have something showing when and where.

    ADMIN – Hi Maegan,

For additional directions on how to submit evidence of purchase please contact the class action administrator.

  16. Natty says:

Is it possible to claim if you live outside the US?

    ADMIN – Hi Natty,

The terms of the settlement indicate that you must be in the United States

  17. Heather says:

What admin do I contact for reciept information? I bought mine back in 2015 and no longer have the reciept. I also downloaded the app when I bought it, how would I prove this also?

    ADMIN – Hi Heather,

The appliance has a serial number on the side.

  18. Kristen V says:

I cannot find a serial number on any part of mine. I purchased in June 2016.
I do not have the box.

    ADMIN – Hi Kristen,

The serial number is on the side of the device in little black numbers.

    • Brandi says:

NOT ALL SERIAL NUMBERS ARE BLACK! The serial number on my pink we vibe is the same color as the unit. At first I didnt think it even had a serial number. Then I looked closer and there it was. You really gotta look to see it if it’s NOT BLACK.

  19. Alisha Young says:

What if I send in a photo of the object? I have no idea how to obtain my proof of purchase. Which sucks because I bought mines in 2011 and it did not own up to its hype.

    ADMIN – Hi Alisha,

A photo might do the trick. Contact the class action admin to see if you can do it that way. Please keep in mind this settlement is not about customer satisfaction, it is about privacy issues.

  20. Ann says:

I filled out the claim form, but it did not ask me for a proof of purchase. Did I miss something? If needed, is the only acceptable form the original receipt?!?

    ADMIN – Hi Ann,

I am not familiar with the digital form for this claim. If you have proof of purchase send it via email to the admin along with your claim #

    • Amy says:

Where can I find the admin’s email to do this?

      ADMIN – Hi Amy,

I already answered that question. Scroll through the comments and you will find the info.

  21. Thomas Dwyer says:

I filled out a claim form on line how do i know they revived it .I down loaded the app an they stolen by ID an cloned my phone number . Sprint did their own investigation an told me where it was coming from

  22. Stephanie Cornwell-George says:

So disgusted with how and what they stole from us. It’s way more than data. I submitted everything as did my husband.

  23. Deb says:

What if I purchased it recently? Have they changed how they do business. Worried about this.

    ADMIN – Hi Deb,

According to court documents they have changed the way they protect privacy.

  24. Jackie says:

If we bought one we vibe but both downloaded it, do we settle twice or once?

    ADMIN – Hi Jackie,

Did you have two different user profiles?

  25. Uka says:

I have we-vibe but I can’t find serial number because after moving a couple times the original box lost . What should I do?

    ADMIN – Hi Uka,

The serial number is on the device.look on one of the sides.

  26. Jessica H. Kiefer says:

I have a question…..I bought my We-Vibe at Fredrick’s of Hollywood in New Orleans…..I didn’t keep the receipt. I did not download the app…..I have a bank statement showing my purchase in New Orleans…Would that be a receipt??? It’s the only thing we bought that day from the store. Also, I can call the store and ask for a copy maybe but, it’s been a long time….. Thanks a lot for the advice…..I see most of us didn’t keep our receipts….I still have the We-Vibe….maybe that should be our evidence, huh guys!!!! LOL

    ADMIN – Hi Jessica,

The We-Vibe has a serial number. If you did not download the app your privacy was not compromised. The first class of the settlement is for privacy associated to the use of the app. The second class is just for purchasers but I doubt they will take just your credit card statement.

  27. Danielle Hoyle says:

Hey, so I don’t have my serial number anymore, but I do have separate proof of purchase. So is there a way to still be a part of this or not?

    ADMIN – Hi Danielle,

I think there is. Submit all the evidence you have to the class action administrator after filing a claim.

    ADMIN – Hi Randi,

Instead of leaving this info here you need to file a claim.

  29. Halley says:

Hi, I filed directly with should I file again through class action rebates or does it all go to the same place?

ADMIN – All goes to the same place.

  30. Gina says:

What if purchased after September 26,2016? I ordered mine in November of 2016. Was the privacy issue fixed by then?

    ADMIN – Hi Gina,

    Yes according to the manufacturer.

  31. James says:

I purchased mine in January 2017. Was the problem solved by then?

    ADMIN – Hi James,

According to the manufacturers yes the problem was solved.

  32. Val says:

When do settlements have to be paid out by ? Is this a thing where I will get a check 2 years later or a couple months/weeks after the hearing ?

    ADMIN – Hi Val,

We don’t know but you should not expect the check to happen immediately.

  33. Kathleen O'Brien says:

Should I re-submit my claim? My serial number on the device is only 8 characters. Although, it looks as though the last 5 characters are the same for everyone who has this particular

    ADMIN – Hi Katleen,

Please contact the admin directly to obtain clarification. applying again is never a good idea.

  34. William says:

So I filled out the claim form but there was no location to make an attachment copy of my receipt. Will this need to be mailed? Also how do they know I used the app unless they are just using the leaked info from company ? All I have is my proof of download on my Google account.

    ADMIN – Hi William,

I would send my documentation via certified mail and I would include my claim number.

  35. Asad says:

Wanted to know if this is applicable for India as well.

I have bought a We-Vibe here. and wanted to know if I can claim as well.

    ADMIN – Hi Asad,

No this is only for the United States.

  36. Amber Cole says:

I bought my We-Vibe July 2,2017 has my information been compromised ?

    ADMIN – Hi Amber,

Per the manufacturer the issues were corrected. You don’t qualify for this settlement.

  37. anne-marie says:

So, if approximately 100,000 people downloaded the app and filed a claim, each person receives $30?? Doesn’t seem just for Invasion of Privacy. Are people filing invasion of privacy law suits independent to the class action to receive just compensation?

    ADMIN – Hi Anne Marie,

If you don’t think the settlement is fair consider withdrawing and taking them to court on your own.

  38. anne-marie says:

Also, i accidentally filed a claim twice. I couldn’t remember if I filed a claim and could not find any records, but I am pretty sure I did. How do I rectify that?

    ADMIN – Hi Anne,

    Contact the class action admin.

  39. Chris Elizondo says:

I have filled out the form but when is the earliest I would be notified of the amount that will be awarded and when is the earliest those funds would be distributed?

    ADMIN – Hi Chris,

Most settlements take months or even years to be fulfilled. Be patient and don’t make plans with the money yet.

  40. Rebecca Davenport says:

When can we expect to receive the settlement?

    ADMIN – Hi Rebeca,

At the moment I do not have any updates regarding this settlement.

  41. Candice Morgan says:

I no longer have the We Vibe 4 Plus but purchased it a few months before Sept 2016. It broke outside of warranty.
Both bf and I used the app.
Im still looking for the reciept and am in touch with the store from which it was purchased.

Oddly enough, I recently bought a We Vibe Nova and the We Vibe app still knows that I had a 4 Plus–it searches and tries to connect with the 4 Plus but finds the Nova instead. It gives me the option to switch between the two. It also has a bulletin about the settlement.

Anyway…will the app work in a pinch to prove purchase? Can’t remember if I registered it not.

    Thank you

    ADMIN – Hi Candice,

Please email the class action administrator with your question.

    • Candice Morgan says:

I filed online, thinking to note that I had a hard copy receipt, but there was nowhere to type in a serial number or anything beyond ID info.
So after submitting online, I printed a claim form, filled it out with a note that I filed both online AND via hardcopy and to please to see the attached receipt, upon which I wrote my name as well as my claim number from my online claim submission.

  42. Ann S says:

I filed my claim online but there was nowhere to submit a copy of my receipt from my purchase. I also have my print out from the apple store showing the dates for the app. There was no instructions on the mail-in claim form. What should I do at this point? Should I keep the documents on hand until asked for them?

    ADMIN – Hi Ann,

I would send copies to the admin using certified mail.

  43. Ben Rose says:

How long before checks go out

    ADMIN – Hi Ben,

Usually a year after deadline give or take a few months if there are no appeals.

  44. Jon Pennington says:

I filed a while ago but never got anything that says I completed it? Is there a list somewhere? I want to make sure my claim got processed. Thanks

    ADMIN – Hi Jon,

Reach out to the class action administrator via email.

  45. Tracy L Arnemann says:

I have been trying to file a claim since the 15th. What can i do now that the deadline has passed?

    ADMIN – Hi Tracy,

What hindered you from submitting? If you did not submit you no longer have legal recourse.

  46. AJ says:

I am moving in January 2018. When I filled out my claim I put my current address to receive a check. What happens if I the check is not here by January.

    ADMIN – Hi AJ,

You submit a change of address to the class action administrator.

  47. Anne Marie Pensanti says:

Now that the July 20 deadline has passed, can we find out how many people files claims for each suit?

    ADMIN – Hi Anne,

    Probably not.

    • Jeanetta Knoop says:

I don’t think they’ll tell how many have filed the claim, but the final hearing is scheduled for tomorrow morning so you might be able to find out more from that.

  48. alexis says:

If I purchased the app and the toy, but don’t have the proof of purchase only the serial number on the toy and the information on when the app was purchased am I still eligible for a rebate?

    ADMIN – Hi Alexis,

The deadline has passed you no longer have recourse.

  49. S. McMahan says:

If you go to the actual website where the claim form is, you can read a document that discusses the final approval process. In that document is states that there were approximately 19,000 valid app users with roughly $2,000,000 left of the monies. (after attorney fees and other fees) Therefor, those people will get roughly $103. Then you have the we vibe purchaser that works out to an estimated $24 payout. Just a little FYI on the estimates.

  50. Allison says:

Who do I contact about settlement information? I filed months ago and have my claim number to follow up.

    ADMIN – Hi Allison,

You contact the class action administrator, their info is posted above.

  51. Chris says:

So what happened? What amount will be divided and among how many claims? Is it going to end up being like $5 per person after lawyers get their fee?

    ADMIN – Hi Chris,

    More like $24

  52. christian valdez says:

hello does anybody know what happened at the final hearing it was yesterday the 15th

    ADMIN – Hi Christian,

Please go to our Facebook page where we posted a nifty update.

  53. Tazz says:

According to the final order, if you purchased the device, you will get around $24.

If you downloaded and used the app, you will get around $104. That’s peanuts. It’s the lawyers who are getting all the money. 33% to be precise.

    ADMIN – Hi Tazz,

Without the lawyers you would not be getting even a penny.

    • Samantha Gallegos says:

Yup!! Got my check today, it was $128.16 and I’m in both classes purchaser and app class.

      What a joke!

      ADMIN – Hello Samantha,

Always remember that $128 is better than nothing.

  54. Jacob says:

I filed om the deadline but never got any information sent to my email confirming it was received can somone provide an update

    ADMIN – Hi Jacob,

You are likely to receive between $24 to about $100 depending on the subclass.

  55. Carrie says:

I have been to the fb page and found no information, where is the $24-$104 coming from, do we know how many claimants there are, info would be nice!!

    ADMIN – Hi Carrie,

If you go read the documents posted on the claims page you will find a section indicated the potential amount of each settlement.

  56. Matt says:

When will checks be mailed? Any way to see if I should be expecting One?

    I filed correctly on time.

    Thank you!

    ADMIN – Hi Matt,

UPDATE: The Final Approval Hearing was held on August 15, 2017, and the Settlement was approved. Per the terms of the Settlement Agreement we anticipate settlement checks to be issued around the end of October 2017. We appreciate your patience.

  57. Casey says:

I sent an email to the law firm asking about the amount and it is $25 and $100. Supposed to be mailed out next week

    ADMIN – Hi Casey,

    Thank You!

    • Jeff Senna says:

$199 for claim 1, the purchaser. Claim 2 is $199-$10000. People who purchased and downloaded the app. So it’s a big ? on what you’ll get. They told me the ones who will get the big $ are the 9 groups that started the suit

      ADMIN – Hi Jeff,

The class action representative always gets more money. He or she also has to show up to court to testify as needed. It is labor-intensive thus the reason for the extra money.

    • Jeff Senna says:

Basically everyone gets at least there $ back. I paid around 170. So it only makes sense.

      • SM says:

Boyfriend and I both received checks today 105 for him the app user and 173 for me the purchaser.

Definite disappoint for the total violation of privacy

        ADMIN – Hi Shannon,

I totally understand. At least it is enough to cover your costs.

  58. Devin says:

We didn’t even get our money back. We got 80 less than we paid for ours. Kinda sad really. Get promised all this money and it is a vast overstatement.

    ADMIN – Hi Devin,

Did you read the pro rata small print?

  59. Andrea says:

I get a daily digest first thing in the morning from USPS that shows all my mail I will get when it arrives later the same day (I think anyone can sign up for it). Anyway, I see that there is an envelope regarding this settlement. NP et al vs Standard Innovation Corp, c/o Heffler Claim Groups.

So I guess I’ll know this afternoon how much I received. I will post the info for anyone interested. BTW I’m in Southern NJ, so I can only imagine that others, at least in this area, should be expecting their checks.

  60. Zan says:

Checks came today alabama one for 22.79 and one for 105.39

  61. Andrea says:

    Check came. $22.79

  62. sara says:

Really, wonder why I have not received mine. And the amounts are disappointing, I was hoping for a big one. Maybe it will come tomorrow.

    ADMIN – Hi Sara,

    How big is big?

  63. Samantha Gallegos says:

I was in both classes, purchased and app class,
    Got $128.16 total..

    ADMIN – Hi Samantha,

    In one or two checks?

  64. Jamie Potter says:

I have not received any kind of a response to my claim form. How do I find out if my claim has been received or when I will be recieving my settlement?

    ADMIN – Hi Jamie,

The checks were sent by the administrator last week. If you don’t get yours soon you need to reach out to the admin with your claim number to try to figure out what went wrong and maybe get a check reissued if yours got lost in the mail.

  65. Bria Barr says:

we received a check for $128.16 on October 27

  66. Craig says:

What was the details of this settlement? From what I read it was supposed to be $199 for the purchaser and up to $10k for the App class. I understand the need for lawyer fees, but what are the exact numbers?

    ADMIN – Hi Craig,

You can go visit our Facebook page where everyone is sharing their settlement amounts. As for the attorney’s fees you can check those out under the tab titled documents.

  67. Rebecca s davenport says:

this settlement check is a big joke

    ADMIN – Hi Rebecca,

When faced with a class action settlement you always have the option to opt out and get your own attorney.

  68. Tammie Foley says:

Got my check – Right around $120 bucks for both the device and the app. SO disappointed – on the one hand, it’s free cash. On the other……Why “estimate” 10 grand?!?! I feel like a big bait and switch happened.

    ADMIN – Hi Tammie,

Estimations are made under the assumption that only a percentage of the affected class will claim. It appears people are becoming more savvy about settlements.

  69. Ellie C says:

My partner and I are in both groups (although we received no confirmation of this) and submitted both an online claim AND a letter with all documentation in early 2017 (way before the deadline). Since my partner purchased the item, the claim was filed in his name. We still haven’t received any compensation or even a single communication about the status of our claim. This is unacceptable. What is the best way to contact the lawyers to request our money?

    ADMIN – Hi Ellie,

Contact the class action administrator before you reach out to the lawyer.

  70. Tara W says:

I think my check was for like $159 which really makes me angry since I had purchased two devices and of course downloaded the app. I wrote the settlement group and asked them if they were sure that they had both my devices in the lawsuit and they just gave me a generic answer about the amount of money being decided by the number of claimants.

    ADMIN – Hi Tara,

That was not a generic answer. That was the correct answer. If you refer to the terms of the settlement you will notice that the funds would be divided pro rata based on the number of valid claims. Basically you were not affected twice in terms of your privacy because you had two devices since you only have one identity.

  71. Will says:

Hi I saw you say something about a claim number in which I don’t remember. Is there anyway I could regain my claim number. I haven’t received a check of any sort and so haven’t the person I used it with.

    ADMIN – Hi Will,

Did you file a claim during the window of opportunity? If you did I encourage you to contact the class action administrator.

  72. Andy says:

I just found out about this. Am I still able to file a claim?

    ADMIN – Hi Andy,

    Sadly no.

  73. Lynn Harrison says:

I purchased a We-Vibe Sync Anniversary collection last May. I came across this Class action. Am I eligible?

    ADMIN – Hi Lynn,

    You are not.
