    ADMIN – Hi Joyce,

Try contacting the administrator in writing. Otherwise wait.

  47. Brenda says:

Courts need to crack down on these class actions. Some folks are really affected and or taken advantage of. The attorneys get all the cash so what is the point? When you call the admin you are disrespected. And like myself didn’t fin out in a timely manner to late to make a claim. I was really harassed and then Wells Fargo sold my account to a collector for pennies on the dollar. When confronted they told me they had the right to do so.

    Really?

  48. Lindsay Pickard says:

I was wondering how Ii would get involved in the settlement over Wells Fargo as I too was affected. I actually had fraud happen to my account in which they’re still claiming I owe them hundred’s of dollars that was never me. I was also told the only way I could get an account with Wells Fargo was to open up about 8 different accounts. In which the checking would auto go into the other 7 savings accounts auto. Which over drafted me often. When I requested to stop it they said the only way to would be to shut ALL my accounts down fully.

    ADMIN – Hi Lindsay,

This settlement is about getting contacted via phone from Wells Fargo without your explicit authorization. It has nothing to do with administrative issues like the one you describe above.

  49. Shena says:

Checks will be sent out around April 13,2016.

  50. deborah glaze says:

i have move from the address you have on file how can i update my address

    ADMIN – Hi Deborah,

You can contact the class action administrator via snail mail to report your change of address. Their info is at the bottom of the settlement page.

  51. Jose says:

Do we know how much we getting?

    ADMIN – Hi Jose,

We don’t but the checks should come out on or about April 13, 2016

  52. Mary Klaus says:

I was receiving calls every 1/2 hour even when I had a payment plan set up with Wells Fargo. It was so annoying and harassing . Some days I would have up to 20-30 calls. I would call back and tell them I had a payment plan set up and was abiding by it but was told I would still get these calls. Glad someone saw fit to sue.

  53. Info says:

Class action suits like this are not about doing right by the plaintiffs. Law firms make a living off hunting down and filing this type of action. Individual plaintiffs will get about $4 each. The law firm is taking $4 million off the top and then getting another $3.5 in fees I think… Think “ambulance chasers” on a much larger scale.

  54. Artelia Brown says:

I received plenty of calls. Thanks for speaking on my behalf and helping to compensate my family and I.

  55. Shena says:

Checks were mailed out on April 13, about $77.00 each person.

  56. Artelia Brown says:

    Still haven’t received my check.

    ADMIN – Hi Artelia,

Contact the class action administrator to ask about your claim. The information is located on the main settlement page under “contact”.

  58. vanessa hill says:

Hello, Hello, anybody there? Wells Fargo (Huntsville, AL) opened my safe deposit box for someone else to go into. I did not know anything about it until I went to access it. When I asked to gain access to the box they said, we can’t find a box for you. When I inquired more about it they gave me papers showing that the box had been closed. I made several attempts to correct the situation and they relocated the woman who was helping me…. I still have the two keys and papers to the box and no answers.

    ADMIN – Hi Vanessa,

We are not the bank and therefore unable to help you resolve this matter. Please contact the bank.

  63. Melissa Morris says:

Received the settlement and it doesn’t have a spot to endorse it. How do I deposit it in my account on my phone

    ADMIN – Hi Melissa,

Endorse it on the side that a check normally gets an endorsement.

  64. tracey says:

If I need to report lawsuit monies that I got from Wells Fargo being in a class action lawsuit, where would I get information from to report to IRS. My name is Tracey Woods, I’m in Memphis, TN. email address:traceywoo@live.com. This would have been in 2014.

    ADMIN – Hi Tracey,

You would need to contact the company that administered the settlement. The process of getting evidence for something that old is super difficult.

  65. garrett young says:

What banks or stores cash the settlement checks. Well Fargo won’t unless you have a account

    ADMIN – Hi Garrett,

    Try Walmart

  66. Charles Copeland says:

When do we receive the check?

    ADMIN – Hi Charles,

Distribution happens ones the settlement gets final approval.

  69. TODD LINDSTROM says:

    HI,
I just received a check, but reading the attachment, it stated that this was the second check. I do not remember receiving a first check. Is there a way that I can check to see if I should have had a first check and if that check was cashed or deposited.

    ADMIN – Hi Todd,

    Contact the class action administrator.

    • Sharon Bradshaw says:

Hi Todd!!! I received the same thing in the mail today and I am in the same boat as you with questions. I never received a first payment and this measly $15 postcard check is supposed to be the second payment….

      ADMIN – Hi Guys,

I have the feeling your stuff was stolen in the mail.

    • Carol says:

That would be easy if the numbers for the representatives were still in working order.

      ADMIN – Hi Carol,

If the number has been pulled from service you no longer have recourse.

  70. Coretta Watts says:

I don’t know how much is your responsibility of checking the status of each individual pay off my was 15dollars and some change.please be more specific.

    ADMIN – Hi Coretta,

I am not the admin of this class action therefore I have no responsibility to check anything at all.

  71. David Goodman says:

I received only one check dated June 1,2017 however it stand it was the second payment, I never received a first. I tried to contact the number associated with this b lawsuit and it stated it c is no longer in working order. Who do I need to contact for or about the first check.
    Thank you in advance,
    David

    ADMIN – Hi David,

    Try class counsel.

  72. ERIK SEGURA says:

I got $1.06 cents. is that?.. Is it for them to say they paid back millions of customers? A couple bucks each.

    ADMIN – Hi Erik,

I have removed all profanity from your contribution. Settlements are pro rata meaning the pool is divided equally among all qualified applicants.

  73. DawnKA says:

Scammed again. First Wells Fargo, then this company representing a class action lawsuit. Received a check in the mail on November 8, 2017 with an issue date on the check on May 5, 2017 states void after 180 days. A useless check, why???

    ADMIN – Hi Dawnka,

The last check for this settlement was sent in May of 2016. Are you sure you are holding a check corresponding to this particular case? I ask because the admin closed shop almost two years ago and it would be impossible for them to issue checks.

  74. Birame SENE says:

Did receive a check I didn’t cash. Today, got an unknown call I didn’t pick up. After a listened to the voice mail, called back the number and the lady told me she’s calling to recover the Wells Fargo Credit Card debt. And like everytime I got a call from them, they start traitening me with law suit. Since, I was trying to suit the back for charging me late payment before the due date (2 times that I payed at a Wells Fargo branch and after I called them with my receip payment, they said l had to pay it because they already put it in the system). Another one was an insufficient charge for an automatic payment from the checking account. After I called them to ask them how can I schedule an automatic payment without a checking account , they told me may be an employee made a mistake and I had to pay that. Finally I stopped paying when they charged me again for a Money order they said they didn’t get, was at that time in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Never get the money order returned to me so I stopped paying. Since I signed the waiver in the Lillian Franklin v. Wells Fargo. What can I do to stop theses calls. Thank you

    ADMIN – Hi Birame,

You can add your phone to the do not call registry.

  75. Gregory Shannon says:

i filed my claim over the phone as instructed and i never received anything and i did it when you first sent me the notice

    ADMIN – Hi Gregory,

Claims don’t have an over-the-phone option for filing.

  76. Joseph Pacheco says:

I have emailed the attorneys on the lawsuit web page. I still have not received a check nor a response in regards to the lawsuit. Wells Fargo ruined my credit before I could even begin building it. I opened an account as a student years ago only to find that I was charged interest on a credit card I never used. Never use Wells Fargo! How can I get my settlement check?

    ADMIN – Hi Joseph,

Class counsel is the highest level of escalation. If they are not replying you don’t have any other recourse. It is entirely possible that your phone was not included in the list of telephones contacted therefore you are not a qualified class member.

  77. Danika D Galvan says:

I received my check and didn’t realize it was a check for many months a d now Cross vs wells Fargo won t reissue my check. Very bad business, if I’m entitled to something it should have an expiration for my payment. Just ridiculous!

    ADMIN – Hi Danika,

When a check expires the funds usually become part of a secondary distribution which is either sent to class members that cashed their prior check or is given to charity. You no longer have recourse.

  78. Rodney Johnson says:

    Thank you, it’s about time.

  79. Carolyn Kizina says:

    It is about time!
